Great to have a quality pair of 15x binoculars, and at a surprisingly-affordable price.
I got these on sale, and am quite happy with them at the price. Clear images of the moon (but with no facility to filter it would be far too bright when full), and a nice wide view of the stars.
I received the binoculars about two weeks ago and have used it several times since for star-gazing. I like them! I see the stars very clearly and focused. The weight of the binoculars is a little more than I wanted, but the optical quality is there. It's a trade-off.
Arrived the day after the order, had to wait a couple of days for the skies to clear, and then had the chance to see what these modest 15x70 binocs could do. Pleased to say they perform just as well as described....
I made an order of 2 of these binoculars and 1 Celestron 20x80 Skymaster. Meade has a better image quality than the Celestron by far. I decided to stay with the celestron for its power and is water resistant. Do not hesitate to buy, it greats for Star Watching.
Most of these binoculars are made in the same factory in China for different companies. The only differences are the cosmetics, the type and quality of the optical coatings that are spec'd, and how much quality control the company does before selling them to dealers or end users.
