Nice fridge with a few things I don't like.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have the fridge for a month or so. It seems to be fine, but there are a couple of things I don't like.
First, the freezer changes temp by 4-5 degrees every hour. It is set to -3°. But it swings from -2° to -7°. This is during the night when no one is opening the fridge or freezer. The ice maker is full so I've turned it off temporarily.
In comparison, my LG fridge in my cabin changes no more than 1° in the freezer every hour. I am using an accurate graphing temp sensor to get these numbers.
Second, the shelves seem a bit flimsy compared to my last fridge, a 13 year old LG French door model.

2 design considerations need improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the fridge does what it says. We have had it a month and there are 2 things about this fridge I would request require further consideration. The wide length drawer at the bottom of the fridge has a flap that you can lift to get food items in the drawer. However, if you do this, it separate the cover and you have to fit it back in. The only way to use this drawer is to slide it out and back in bc the cover is flimsy. Second, the ice maker is open and the ice constantly falls behind the maker and you have to crawl on the ground to get the pieces out. I think there is a better design for both of these.

It operates…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this fridge a chance because our fridge of only 4 years died unexpectedly. So far, this Maytag is annoyingly loud when fan and compressor are operating. Also, the left hinge was installed a 1/4” too low at the factory. To fix alignment with right door, 2 nylon washer were used to adjust, but now the door won’t stay open. Freezer drawer hardware sometimes slightly misaligns, doesn’t instill confidence it will last. Well, at least it keeps things cold and makes ice. Not really impressed with craftsmanship.

French door MRFF4136RZ05
Bought the MRFF4136RZ05 to replace my Kenmore model 795.74105.811, which was made by LG. Kenmore only lasted 5 years. Hoping the reliability of this refrigerator is better. I marked this refrigerator down to three stars for the doors not being even (manual says they are adjustable by hex head screw in the bottom hinge pin but mine does not have) the water valve for the ice maker is loud, shelves on the doors are shallow, the freezer drawer do not roll smooth and the veg/fruit drawers are not smooth rolling as well. Like I said hoping for better reliability and I do like that it is assembled in the USA.

So far so good

Other refrigerators we have had leaked water at the dispensing areas in the door and my wife got tired of wiping up the water. We love the fact that she does not have to deal with this anymore.

Sleek and efficient. User friendly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this refrigerator for free from influenster in exchange for my honester review. This is a huge update from our old refrigerator, it's very roomy and you are able to easily control temperatures via the control panel. It's very quiet in comparison to our old fridge. I'm loving the fingerprint resistant finish as well, really just a beautiful design. It also has a factory installed ice maker which is a must have in the summer especially on the west coast. I love it! 10/10 and I will be recommending to anyone who needs a new fridge.

It works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first french door with freezer on the bottom refrigerator. I did not get one with automatic ice/water dispenser as I really don't need those features. The freezer is my main disappointment. I don't like having to pull the upper rack out to get to the ice bucket. I understand why it needs to be back there, it's just awkward getting to the ice. Also, the food in the freezer is just piled on top of each other. You really have to dig to find what you want; I'll get used to it eventually. Also, the unit seems to run a lot!

Freezer is a little small. Everything is great. I looked at a lot of refrigerator before I bought this one. The fact that it has a 10 warranty on the compressor sold me.
