Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Optimal Soap Dispenser Issues
We recently bought this set and I can’t figure out how to wash my delicates with Woolite or my sports clothes with sports detergent. The Optimal Soap dispenser only seems to take one type of soap, and I can’t figure out how to disable or bypass it to use something else. This seems so bizarre to me - I went from being able to choose any type of soap in my old machine, to having this fancy new machine that locks me in to one kind. I hope I am missing something - I’ve read the entire owner’s manual and searched online extensively. Help!

After three weeks...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot comment on the longevity or reliability of this machine, as it's new, but so far have been loving it. It's packed with special features that are actually useful, like a very large capacity, an overnight option that washes AND dries lighter items (it's great for tee shirts, not comforters), and a sanitizing cycle for those extra dirty items (this is a wonderful feature if you have kids or pets). The ability to pre-fill the machine with liquid detergent is so convenient.
Overall, I love this workhorse.
My only suggestions/issues are that I can't seem to get either the washer or the dryer paired with my wifi, and I wish I could pre-fill my fabric softener, too.

Superior Washing Machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a Maytag washer and dryer to replace an aging pair of Maytags. Getting the pedestal was a great option! The washer has so many options for washing different types of clothes, towels, sheets, etc.! It is very quiet! I had to stand there for the first few loads and listen with the intent to hear it running! And the spin cycle is awesome. We have never had clothes come out of the washer so dry! It took a little bit to read about all the options and determine which were best for different loads. When you are shopping for washers, be sure to consider this machine!

IT'S WORSE THAN THE DRYER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought in November and right out of the gate we have had nothing but trouble with the soap dispenser, it dispenses and then fills up with water, so you never know if you are going to get a little soap or all of it, it took 6 hours to wash towels tonight, that was fun, the repairman will be back when the new parts come in, inexcusable for something so expensive and brand new.......poor quality, wish we hadn't bought this either

Great washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had Maytag but one time husband listened to Consumer Reports and we sadly bought another brand..it was a lemon. Back to Maytag, I am thrilled with front loader. I like all of the built in choices for various laundry types, fabrics etc. Only complaints: a little long to learn how to use some of the computer choices; the washer takes longer to start, and we still have not figured out how to make the chime work at the end of a cycle..not ever loud enough.. My husband and I have 5 college degrees between us..his last was in computer programming/information systems....this chime should not be a problem.

Nice unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer & dryer set for a month now and they are good so far. The washer drum is smaller then the dryer. Should be the same size. And there is no instructions on how much detergent is being used. And the start button should just start the units, not count down 3, 2, 1 and then start. I don't understand this purpose. They should develope a hot air cycle after a wash to dry the inside of the washer. This way you don't need to leave the door open to air dry or wipe down moisture after washing. Plus the wash cycles run too long. These are not energy efficient appliances.

We call it silent sam!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our favorite washer ever. Only been running it for 6 weeks now but we couldn't be more pleased. It is very efficient cycle time wise, and the capacity is fantastic. You can barely hear it run, at least compared to our last set. Our clothes come out cleaner and dry faster than our old set too.
Best feature ever - the auto detergent dispense feature. Each fill lasts about 9 loads.
Sounds silly but its 9 seconds I don't have to spend pouring detergent in, PLUS 9 less spills down the front of the cabinets, and 9 less sticky plastic cups stuck to the shelf!!!
It looks and works fantastic. We are 100% satisfied.

Great Machine - BUT
Love the machine but huge drawback - you can't bypass the Optimal Dose Dispenser or get a Single Dose Dispenser so you can change your detergents. I don't always use the same detergent (i.e. I use Woolite for my delicates) and there's no way to bypass - so I have this wonderful dispenser that holds enough for 8 loads of laundry that I can't ever use more than 1 dose of detergent in at a time in - I would have added a bypass.
