I bought this after several unsuccessful attempts to repair my HE top loader which was only 4 years old, and I will update the review of that machine separately. This Maytag front loader is noticeably quieter and much more efficient in water and electricity usage.
i am please with this purchase. washer is very quiet. i loved that i was able to get a full size washer (and dryer) there are stackable as i have a small space for laundry.
the fresh hold option tumbles it maybe 5 or 6 times for about 6 seconds in an hour to hour and a half... does not clean clothes too well and the cycles are very long, the clean washer cycle is over an hour... will definately have the mold problem too with the way the water funnels into the seal.
Research mold in frontloaders BEFORE you buy. I wish I'd known.
