Love the dryer. Weak link of the dryer is the door latch. I fear this will be the first thing to break. Very flimsy. Otherwise I love it, has all the features you need in this price point

The larger central knob control feels loose to the touch. When rotating the knob, its difficult to find the point at which you need to select a setting. The door closure snap is poorly designed using a plastic (nylon) keeper. When closing the door, you have to force it shut, and its loud.

I picked this dryer based on the Maytag reputation and the reviews. So far so good, I'm totally enjoying it. I've had the dryer for less then one month so I'm not able to rate it as excellent. Just hoping it lives up to its reputation.

Looks great, works great. Dries laundry much faster than our old dryer. I had to reverse the door swing, very easy to do with very good text and diagram instructions. Definitely recommend.

So far, the wife likes it. That's all that counts.

purchase/install was worst appliance buying experience ever! Ordered gas dryer installed. Delay after delayu2014installer claims it can't get city permits to install in my city (22314)! Home Depot is NOT easy to get in touch with. The dryer: top is not flat, so can't put detergents etc on top.
