Great Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great capacity! Quick and quiet drying! I love this dryer. The Installation team was great ( my laundry room is on the 2nd floor of my house) and they got it done without damaging my appliances. Make sure you empty your pockets or the machine will do it for you which will be a repair phone call you have to make. Otherwise I really do love this dryer and all of the settings it has. It has a remote start feature and feature to prevent wrinkles - which tumbles your clothes after the cycle has finished. My black clothing didn’t have dog fur on it so the dryer definitely sucked the fur off it in the drying cycle.

Excellent Gas dryer for pet owners.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maytag 7.40 cft gas dryer with the pet pro is outstanding. I have 2 dogs that sheds a lot and by using the air dry (no-heat) and pet pro function I was able to remove almost all the hair and lint. It worked better than the commercial dryer I used to remove pet hair from pet bedding. The other great thing is all the hair gets collected on the reusable filter. It also has other great feature like a powerful steam and sanitizes function which I used for towels, pillows and others. So far so good this dryer works as advertised.

Good Appliance but Needs a Few Tweeks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the washer and dryer a few months ago. They have great capacity. I have a dog that sheds like crazy so I figured I'd try the Pet Pro system.
The Pet Pro feature doesn't seem to remove much dog hair and adds a lot of time to the wash and dry cycles. You would figure if it adds all that time it would capture more of the hair.
I feel the Dryer lint trap is poorly designed and doesn't seem to do a great job filtering the lint. I have to pull lint out of the rails that the lint trap inserts into.

Not Satisfied With my Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for @3 months and I’m not satisfied for the money I paid. It’s Maytag, it’s supposed to be the ‘best’ however, not so much. Clothes don’t fry at first attempt and they are normally wrinkled immediately upon removing from the dryer. Yes, I’m following instructions, but it should be easy AND just work.

Maytag is not the Maytag it used to be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased December 1st 2025 received about 2 weeks ago Feb 11 2026. I gave up an 18-year-old unit that I finally fixed prior to receiving the new one. These new machines are aluminum thin compared to my old unit. My advice to Maytag is to go back to the making of the old units without all the modern electrical equipment on them not necessary to have all that equipment. You can have a base machine on the market as well. I'm sure this new machine will not last 18 years 😭

Hard-working and good-looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this set for over a month and I couldn’t be happier. Everything comes out dry and there are a lot of settings to handle whatever you throw at it. I used to wash bulkier bedding items at a laundromat but my new machines handle comforters, king-sized sheet sets, and throw pillows beautifully. The set is also nice-looking and I appreciate the flat-top folding area. I love the quick wash and steam settings—very handy for the young people in my household.
