Needs a LOT of improvement for a “smart” appliance

1) The “app” is way outdated. They need to invest in programmers that can keep up with the functions that smart phones provide. How they don’t incorporate Live Activities on iPhones or a custom sound when the cycle is done is beyond me!! The appliances don’t stay connected to the network well despite being close to the router. Has to “reconnect” constantly.
As for drying? It’s MEH! Has an 18 year old front loader that dried really well. This dryer has YET to dry a load on the first attempt and it takes twice as long as my old unit. Quite frustrating!

PetPro Washer Dryer Set

Buttons take a bit of getting used to (power on and start/pause) as they are touch and pause to activate rather than push to activate. The audio sounds associated with the buttons is a rather annoying pitch, minor complaint. Top of dryer finish is thin. Plastic laundry basket easily scratched the surface day one. WiFi connection provides notification to phone of cycle completion on washer and dryer. Dryer will tumble every few minutes after cycle ends until you open door to prevent wrinkles setting in if you turn that feature on.

As expected this dryer pulled through. The clothes feel and smell great after laundry completes dry cycles. The feature selection on dry cycle is convenient as well. Maytag always delivers ! Did 10 loads of laundry including towels, comforters, you name it over Christmas . ( Family in town). The machine is quite and works well. Happy with purchase!

Perfect and beyond
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to give it a month or so to get it broke in… I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the dryer, it has exceeded our every expectation and hope. It performs as described. The finish is amazing. It was a little frustrating learning how to use the buttons, once we got past that. It has been a dream. The steam function is a fist for our house and is great, but the pet hair that is getting trapped from our clothes is incredible. They smell so much better.

With 2 long-haired shepherds, I really didn’t some materials would ever really be free of pet hair again. So glad this dryer has do far proven me wrong! The Maytag WMAX7 was easy to setup and start using after a brief period to familiarize myself with all the settings it’s capable of. The drying power is great and time and energy saving. The finish is nice looking, but word of caution that it does dent easily. Overall, though, I’m so far very pleased!

Dream. I’d gone on social media & requested recommendations. I also asked the repairman what he thought (as he gave me the news that my old washer was not worth fixing). The most popular choice was Maytag. I’m very glad I chose the Pet Pro version I now have!
