Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

BEST DRYER FOR THE PRICE! from
LOVE IT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the dryer! Simple controls, not complicated. Love the white color of the inside of the drum and the interior electric light which enables one to see everything that might be left in the drum after a cycle. If we were to suggest an addition, it would be a squared off top on the console that a person could place a soap/conditioner/etc. container on for storage rather than a rounded or sloped configuration. A person could use it to store all these types of containers . Of course these containers and the shelf width would need to be the size that could not fall behind the dryer.

Poorly and cheaply made
It's unfortunate that this unit is so cheaply made. I love the way it dries clothes and the capacity of the machine, but parts of it are falling apart after only 1 and a half years of use. First the drum belt went, not too big of deal, but it should have lasted much longer, than the timer knob broke off because the shaft is made of plastic. Why not use metal so it will actually last for the customer. You should be making appliances to last because you care about your customers, not just to save a few cents during manufacturing. Maytag has dropped way down in my book. You should not buy this dryer and maybe not even a Maytag.

Fine appliance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a month ago and overall, like it very well. I especially like that it was built in the USA! Our last machine was only five years old and parts were no longer available i.e. a switch went bad, and my only alternative was to buy a new motor.
However, my wife does not like the lint filter on the top as she says the lint has a tendency to fall out on the top of the machine.
I've also noticed that the cycle knob does not completely turn off when done drying. It continues to hum, and I have to pay attention and manually move it slightly to the off postion to stop it completely.

Keep shopping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a month ago and I regret it. It gets SO hot in my laundry room that I have to leave the door open while using it. It is so loud we can't hear the tv. It is so hot that it causes moist heat to form in the laundry room. It leaves water all over the washer, dryer and the walls. It wrinkled the paper on the walls in the laundry room. Papers of the schedules for garbage, recycle and heavy trash. ruined the papers. Curled them right up. Just like a sauna. I also do not like the cheap door lock. You have to slam the door to shut it. I would love to exchange this dryer for another.

Beware of the slanted top dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sloping top on this dryer is ridiculous! Nothing will sit on top of it. (Dryer sheets, laundry detergent, spray pre treatment, etc... ) Everything works it way to the edge and plops on the floor. Several family members recently bought this exact dryer and are so upset about having this dryer with a slanted top! Drying times appear to be lengthier than expected for a new dryer. I wish I was able to send it back! I have had to apply silicone baking sheets to the top to keep some dryer sheets on top. It also does not appear to be drying things in a timely manner also. very dissapointed.

Very Good dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer in early November. I wanted a Maytag because when I was a child my folks had one for at least 20 years. This new dryer replaced one I had for 25 years and the washer I bought with it is still going strong. Maytag brand washers and dryers are good. The only thing I don't like about this new dryer is the "Cool down feature" at the end of the "Auto Dry." I like to take my clothes from the dryer when they are hot. You have to physically stand there and intercept the Auto Cycle before it advances to "Cool Down" if you want to remove the clothes before it start the "Cool Down".

Works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month or so ago, when the dryer we had forever finally bite the dust. I am so glad I did. I love so many of the features of this dryer. It has a light inside, when you open the door, so you can see what you are trying to find! The feet on the dryer keep it higher up off the ground so you don’t have to bend over as far. It dries quickly and efficiently and I do not have to keep redrying my clothes because they are still damp after a cycle. Also love the buzzer feature that lets me know when the clothes are done. Love Maytag brand and would definitely buy this dryer again!

Would give 5 stars but the design isn’t 5 worthy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a dryer and it dries. And dries really well. Not really a fan of the design of the dryer though. It has a sloping top so you can’t put anything on it, like a laundry basket, or it will slide off. Very dumb design. Who cares about an aerodynamic dryer? I’m also mildly unexcited about the lint catcher location. My last dryer, 27 yr old Amana, May she Rest In Peace, had it’s lint catcher right when you open the door so it was right there to see that it needed changed. Loved that feature. So if you never care about putting anything on top of your dryer this could be the dryer for you.
