I needed a slimmer receiver to go in our game room. This model was one of the few that could fit in our shelves. It's not the most powerful but has plenty of juice to power our built in speakers. Set up was a breeze and Heos functionality was a plus!
Slim, Heos, AirPlay, easy set up.
Not as powerful
Simply, it sounds better than my former Yamaha and is more intuitive to use, especially for my wife!! We love it!
Easier to use, remote for sure, than old unit.Quality seems a lot better also.
Every feature on this model is what I knew it would be except the remote. The remote does not illuminate....my last Marantz had it.What a disappointment!
Very surprised about how musical this amp is, playing music!
I wanted to bring cinema sound to home for the price is beyond expectations,
After a deal of thought I bought this model for the good reviews on the sound quality. I wanted to integrate all of my inputs into one device. This easily does that and is a small neat unit and has the bonus of Alexa integration so I can say "Alexa, Play the Beatles on Living Room" and.
I needed to replace my old Yamaha RXV677 because it couldn't pass through 4K signals, I was really tempted to go for an Atmos equiped receiver and was interested in the Denon AVRX1600H that could be purchased for a similar price.
Awesome receiver, does the job well, with plenty to spare.
I bought this to replace a sickly 18 year old Yamaha, and paired it up with my existing Eltax speakers. I particularly liked the shallower depth of this unit as the new TV unit we were getting wasn't as tall as our old unit.
Having finally upgraded to a 4K OLED TV I realised my previously reliable Yamaha (from RS too) needed a 4K upgrade so I phoned the Newcastle store on a Saturday. They had the Marantz in the warehouse and as it was the weekend it would probably be Tuesday the soonest it could deliver.
