I rarely write reviews but man...I had to take a second to just really let y'all know.I purchased this wit the sole intent of doing a pseudo gorilla style impromptu live video interviewing segment at a yoyo contest. Real quick shoot and go type of thing. 5 mins a person then off to the next.

I have put this through the ultimate test already. Shooting with a Canon 400mm 2.8 ISII and a Canon 1DX MKII, holds the weight great and easy to compact to move from spot to spot.

Ive owned one for at least six years. I purchased another one to replace an aging stand. These are very good, theyre light, the clamps work well, the head has the combo 3/8/1/4 threads for mounting a slave flash.
