I ordered this tripod and returned it with the only testing being in my living room. I think Manfrotto dropped the ball on this one. I actually really like the tripod design and simplicity and I found the legs to be quite stable for their weight. However, the main issue is the ball head.
Very light weight
Tricky to extend legs
The sticks proved to be most helpful as you use the upper body to propel yourself along invaluable for people of advancing years.
A bit pricey
The tripod is extremely light and the rubber feet which is left up to the buyer to install are really to small to fit the legs. I would be afraid to put a pro lens on the camera and use this tripod.
Reading the specs I bought is for my DSLR thinking I will take it when I want to travel light. Sorry to say, even without any thing mounted to it it is not stable, tried with and without the rubber add-ons but evey touch makes it move for a few seconds... had to remove it and get a more stable one.
Pretty flimsy tripod. The included rubber feet split when I tried to install them over the spiked feet.
I bought this tripod because it was on sale. I use a lot of tripods for light stands and wear them out frequently. If you're looking for a small, lightweight tripod I would recommend you take a look at it. But, remember it is very lightweight and will only support a strobe or lightweight camera.
Not tall enough. Awkward leg adjustments. There are no stops. You actually have to watch the index marks to make sure you don't pull the sections completely off when adjusting. Spindly, light and unstable.Rough ball.
Avery light, packs into suitcase easily.
Not ideally suited to heavy SLR better for compact/bridge models
Light and strong and perfect for the go pro, just like a long selfie stick but a lot more usefull.
