It's totally worth the money. Nice inovations. The levers that allows the angle of the legs to be adjusted are mildy cumbersome until you figure out that you have to push the leg towards the closed position a little before you can open the angle/stance of the leg. No biggie. All in all very good
Thats right. Ive had 3 different ones and they all failed. The first one worked fine until I wanted to tighten the legs a bit and realized that the screws were are stripped. The second one I had for 6 months, then one day on a shoot, I go to extend the legs and one of them just falls off.
Not as heavy duty as some of Manfrotto's other offerings but this is perfect for my A6500. Anything heavier would be overkill!Panning and tilting is much smoother than my older 701HDV head.
I shoot a lot of weddings and music videos. This tripod is a great addition to my gear.
This is a great tripod fluid head combo. The fluid head gives you precision control over pan and tilt drag so you can easily adjust tensions or just lock the head down. I tried a cheaper $200 Benro tripod and head package before purchasing this, and it doesn't even come close to the smoothness you...
Hello Everyone,For the first sight, the tripod looks good, but when it come to detach the fluid head from the axe, to put the fluid head on other slider or skater, it is been impossible to detached, either in the manual, there is no instruction about this point!
This is a very sturdy and large tripod, great for use in the wind but not sure I would take it backpacking. The construction is top notch and I like the padded material at the top of the legs. I would recommend.
I purchased this tripod to replace my faithful Bogen 3046 which was stolen recently. My selection was partially based on the weight of support advertised. I use a Canon body, extra battery pack, and mostly a Canon 100-400 mm lens, and have been used to a very solid support with the older Bogen.
I bought this as a third video tripod. I looked at all the lighter smaller options, and after setting this up, I'm really happy with it. I'll use this with my D810. It's small enough to fit in a tripod tube with my larger Manfrotto (055XPROB and 501HD head).
Less moving parts means less breakage. This is a simple, strong tripod that is perfect for mirrorless video rigs and sliders.
