I just took this tripod on a hiking trip to the 'Wave'. I love the fact that it has a 360-degree marker and levels which aid in creating wide pan images that are merged together in photoshop. Also, love the fact that it is lightweight....
I am so in love it is silly. Sure, it's heavy, but I don't care. I shoot video for YouTube which provides me with some income, so that's fun. I am shooting with a Canon 80D that has an extra battery pack, a zoom lens, and Rode shotgun mic. My rig is pretty heavy.
I've owned this tripod for a couple of years now, and it has definitely served me well. The flip locks do come loose so you have to be sure to tighten them intermittently. It is also pretty heavy so just be aware of that before you buy! But overall, a nice tripod that travels well.
A little heavy but sturdy and versatile
Great tripod! The flip leg adjusters make changing the height very easy. Great for travel as it is compact; I was able to fit it into a carry-on sized luggage. So far I have only used it for a light camera, but it seems sturdy enough that I am confident it will be able to hold my Nikon D4 with 18-80...
Excellent tripod very sturdy, if I could go back would proably have gone for the carbon version .
Easily Adjusted, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
I've been watching videos about tripods and decided to get the manfrotto and I'm very happy with my purchase ..it was a bit pricey but again I love the quality and the features
I'm very impressed with this combined tripod and head. This was bought as an upgrade and is exactly what I was looking for with still life photography in mind. It's solid as a rock and the head is very easy to adjust.
Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
Great tripod for studio shooting. It allows for straight down shooting which is really convenient. It's light weight but sturdy and easy to level on uneven floors. The 3-way pan tilt head is very smooth. A solid tripod for the money.
i bought this tripod to replace a 10 year old tripod with a ball head. So glad I did. I used to think I would not like a pan/tilt head but recently started to change my mind after realizing that I was silently complaining to myself about using the ball head every time I used it.
