Nothing to complain about. It's heavy enough to be sturdy but not to heavy where you would leave it at home. I like being able to adjust the friction on the ball head, I put the Nikon 200-500 lens on it and you could adjust it where it wouldn't tilt in any direction on its own, but you could still...

I've never owned any Manfrotto product. These tripod and ball head are very sturdy and well built. I travel to the far east quite a bit and need to bring this tripod. Due to its nice weight I will be removing the ball head and packing it with my luggage while carrying the tripod using the Manfrotto...

I like everything about this tripod, except the lack of a way to hang weight off the center pole for ballast.

I love this tripod ... love the quick camera attach and release feathure. So easy to set up and the level bubble is a plus!

I have not used this tripod out on location yet; but have tested all the fetchers on it. It's very solid and works well. It was easy to connect to my camera. I am glad I purchased this product.

Ive never had a tripod of this quality. I wanted to use it a while before giving a review. I love hiking to unknown water falls. In the short time Ive owed this tripod, we have fallen, we have swam and we have been a lot of miles. This is a tough tripod!!! Battle scares to prove it.

First tripod & I'm happy with my purchase...

This would be fine with a DSLR, but with a 501 HDV video head and larger Panasonic camera - the tripod is very top heavy and falls over easy.

Not sure I needed such a tripod, but wanted to try a ball head with my Canon 7D 100-400 L (II) lens for imaging birds and such. This outdid my last Monfrotto: easy set up; easier camera angle movement with the ball head. And the birds, Columbia ground squirrels ignored the setup.

Easy to use, love the control, and when you locked the camera is really locked in the position you wanted. I was afraid of the review that posted cons as bulky an heavyweight. Now that I had one No regrets....the perfect tripod for my use.
