I purchased this for my Canon 5D Mark III and 24-70mm lens after returning a BeFree model from Manfrotto that was great in that it was light and packed up small, but it felt flimsy and weak. This tripod is much better. It feels very solid when fully extended and will go well over 6ft if needed.
This is a great tripod. I actually exchanged the ball head to my monopod and put on a manfrotto fluid head on it. It is awesome for cinamatic movement, since it is very stable. The ball head allows me to take shots in different angles compared to the fluid head. overall great products!
Sturdy and strong design. Very easy use and nice. I use this tripod with my D810/Grip/Lens/Lee Filters and it sits straight up and I feel safe with all the weight of the equipment on it.
It is heavy duty easy to use good quality aluminum..Great value..!
This is a great tripod! I have only owned this a couple of weeks, but I love it already! The quality is amazing.........super solid tripod, and the ball heads locks up solid. Many great features. The only thing I don't love, is the leg locks.
The tripod/head combo is well built and easy to setup and tear down. The quick release for the camera is quite secure. I expect many years of use from this tripod. I was fortunate that Manfrotto had a rebate.
This product is an excellent choice.Very sturdy and durable.Camera will not shake under windy conditions.Does have some weight but can handle.Lighter tripod not recommended for windy conditions. The ball head is excellent smooth happy with the product.
This is the second one I purchased, Im a pro photographer, I use this tripod everyday, Its very well made, very sturdy. The Ball head is very good. this setup is a great deal for the money.
Probably would give five stars, but I've only had it a couple of weeks. Using it for some portraits, but more for landscape. Very versatile and solid. No problems with camera shake
Use primarily for landscape and wildlife photography. Yes, it's added weight to attach to my backpack, but travels nicely (remove the ballhead if desired). But the steady platform pays-off on uneven ground or windy conditions.
