Manfrotto MHXPRO-3W 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head

I bought this head to replace a Manfrotto MH804, and I'm happy with the decision. Three points: tilt adjustments in both directions are smooth, the tension controls make for secure settings, and I am reasonably at ease having a camera with long lens on this quick release mechanism.

I just wanted a solid 3-axis head and this hit the mark. The extendable handles are more helpful than I expected. It's nice to be able to shorten them when you aren't using your tripod so they don't snag on things as much. The tension knobs are great for tuning the head to your camera's weight.

I shoot mostly real estate photos with this unit. I find my work goes much quicker and smoother using this unit than a ball head unit. The mechanism allows me to get level shots every time with a lot less hassle than ball units.

This head works great with my 5D mark IV and the 24-70mm L lens. No issues with creeping at any angle or position. Holds the weight exactly where I place the camera so the subject doesn't drift out of the shot. The locking mechanisms work really well.

This head was exactly what I need when my old head started showing wear and wasn't as stable as I need it to be (you would see shake but very slight). Popped it right onto the tripod legs and it has been a joy using this head.

Used to support a heavy Fuji GX680 it has performed flawlessly.I find the bubble levels extremely useful.

Excellent tripod head. Used for my Sigma 150mm-600mm. Which with the camera weighs just a tad over 6lb. The Manfrotto MHXPRO 3 way Head handles it superbly, totally eradicating the shake I was getting with the previous tripod head. I would highly recommend this tripod head.

This product delivers quality. The built-in levels are very helpful. Ideal for still shots.

I bought this pan-tilt head to fit on to my Manfrotto 190go carbon tripod and am so glad that I made this choice. It is easy to adjust and keeps the camera locked in. The two long handles are telescoping making it easier to fit into a bag. However, they do not fold down.
