I bought a great Manfrotto Bogen tripod 17 years ago and it's still going strong. I attached this part to a jib/crane that I have and I guess over all the years it stayed attached and I can't get it off the jib.
I use this attached to various heads so I get more use of. my carbon fiber tripod. Easy switch of the various tripod heads. Heavy duty and no problem with the heavy load.
This quick release plate was a precise replacement for my 30 year old tripods. After purchasing one I bought two more. I am looking forward to letting your readers know how the rubber cushion holds up in comparison to the Cork material over the next 30 years.
The 030-14 quick release plate works well with the super pro head and mounted easily to the camera

I never dreamed that I would be able to find a replacement Quick Release Plate for my Bogen #3040 tripod - after all, it's no spring chicken. However the Manfrotto 030-14 Hex is a PERFECT replacement - fits like a champ - as an old friend of mine would say, "Just like store bought!
