I needed a tripod that could easily handle my Canon 5D MkIII with a 400mm lens and sometimes a teleconverter. The Manfrotto MT 190XPRO3 is now paired with a MH054MO-Q5 ball head and the combination is rock solid at all angles. Speaking of angles the legs have 4 angles of spread and all are stable.
Another good product from Manfrotto
I have used the tripod only one weekend so far, but I like it. Have not used the folding arm function, but tried it in the living room. I was concerned whether I could adjust the camera to a horizontal view using the arm where the camera will be vertical in its regular position.
Light weight and durable. I also have the carbon fiber one as well.
Rock solid, light weight. easy to use tripod. I have used this with my Tamron 150-600 lens as well as macro lens at 90 degree angle for flower photography. I use this with Manfrotto 804RC2 head.
Good hiking tripod
I found the tripod to be easy to set up, stable even in wind, plus, it has that little hook so you can hang your bag in case you need to add more weight. And I like the way it can cantilever out 90 degrees. What a nice feature.
I have not actually used it yet, but it looks to be exactly what I want to shoot in extremely cold weather.
A fairly nice tripod that is a sturdy, can handle a decent load, very steady, nice clamp style releases to extend and contract the legs. uses standard 3/8 mount to attach a head, I use it with a Benro S6 Fluid head.
Good tripod, but, whoever designed the leg angle selectors needs their head examined. This is not one of Manfrotto's best ideas. One my selectors got stuck in the down position and there is no way to repair it. I have looked everywhere for parts...nothing.
