The Marshall Monitor II ANC headphones deliver a solid audio experience and decent noise cancellation, but are priced a bit too high.
-
+
Rich bass depth and crisp highs., Easy-to-operate on-ear controls., Adjustable EQ and ANC in app., Customizable shortcut buttons.
-
-
Overpriced., In-app EQ has some quirks., No AptX or AAC codec support.
Marshall's been a familiar name in music hardware for decades now, and while we're always going to think about amplifiers first and foremost, over the past few years we've seen the brand spread to a new line of consumer audio gear.
-
+
Hardware designThe controls are more responsive, earpads more comfortable, and even how you fold the headphones for storage feels more robust compared to the original., Noise-cancellationGreat to finally see arrive, the actual cancellation effect is solid, and good software controls.
-
-
PriceAt $320 (currently on sale for $280), we're going up against some very premium competition from the likes of Sony and Bose., aptXNo one likes to see a follow-up drop important features, so the lack of support for higher-end codecs here is confusing.
“These headphones feature high-energy sound and huge battery life wrapped in Marshall's iconic style.”
The Marshall Monitor II A.N.C. headphones are consistently good headphones that can be recommended and purchased without hesitation. But only if the Bose Headphone 700 and the Sony WH-1000XM3 were not already available.
-
+
Good wearing comfort, Changeable ear pads, Easy operation via intelligently placed keys, Harmonious sound, Good battery life
-
-
No cable without remote control and microphones, High price
The Marshall Monitor II ANC headphones are good at active noise cancelling, have a great build and design, are easy to use, and are perfect for commuters and frequent flyers alike.
-
+
Great build quality, Good active noise cancelling, Playback control knob is great, Transparency mode is super useful, Folds down to a more compact size, Battery life
-
-
Priced similarly to other (better) headphones, No aptX or AAC Bluetooth codec support, Microphone is not great
The Marshall brand is best-known for its iconic selection of guitar amps, and recently, its fantastic speakers too.
-
+
Brilliant sound quality, Plenty of customization options, Good noise cancellation, Controls are easy enough to use, Transparency mode is excellent, Foldable and portable, Amazing battery life, Stunning and comfortable design, In-built microphone and voice assistant
-
-
Not the best microphone quality for voice calls, No advanced Bluetooth codecs
Marshall's best wireless headphones Marshall Monitor II ANC have been equipped for long-haul flights.

Long battery life. USB-C and fast charging. Surprisingly neutral sound. Good padding. Convenient handling.

Costs as much as our reference headphones. Warm around the ears when listening for a long time. Bad treble.
The Marshall Monitor II ANC headphones have a lot to offer. They’re well-built and designed, plus they sound great, and offer the added bonus of noise cancellation. That said, if noise cancellation and modern features are your top priority, it may be worth looking elsewhere.
The closed circumaural Marshall Monitor II A.N.C. offer well-balanced sound, but score particularly highly on wearing comfort and have several interesting functions.
Known more for its guitar amplifiers in the past, Marshall has banked on retro styling to design its headphones, like its latest Monitor II A.N.C, to stand out from the crowd.
Bough Marshall Monitor ANC II a few weeks ago. The best headphones I've had so far, especially ANC, which does its job very well in a busy office. Sound is crisp and, most importantly -- you do not get tired after few hours of wearing them, as Monitor II is exceptionally comfortable!
I found the size to large. I’m 6ft but I think these were designed for people with wide heads. They start to slide off… so no head banging with these. As for sound quality, they have great clarity at low and high volumes. Still for some reason the speakers feel week even when they’re loud.
Marshall never fails to impress me from their amplifiers, bluetooth speakers and now their headphones. Marshall Monitor ANC II has great active noise cancelling and the way they made the design is really great. The materials are of great quality, the leather the buttons and so on.
These are very nice headphones and they sound awesome! I can hear things in my favorite songs that I’ve never heard before. It sounds like I’m in the recording room. Also the ANC works great, and the transparency mode is not the best but it’s usable.
Summary of goodness:1) Fit and finish feels premium.2) low end is not too bassy but actually likeable.3) voice for movie viewing is very good , also for songs.4) ANC is excellent.5) ANC off gives in a natural surrounding sound.- only draw back is no alexa/ Google.
Excellent sounds very good battery
I didn’t know I needed the Marshall headphones. But when I bought them …. I loved them !
Sound quality is awesome, made strong and fits perfectly for guys like myself who has a large head. Only problem is there a whispering/ humming noise in the back ground which u have to sometimes go into ur equaliser to turn it off.
What a great pair of headphones! I'm impressed and you can't go wrong with these!!!
Awesome headphones with an old school look. Big sound stage feel to the audio quality. Really good for enjoying music and watching movies. The base can be cranked up and still sounds good and the rest is still clear. Not monitor headphones for sound studio mixing, these are for listening pleasure.
