If you're in need of some extremely portable amplification or monitoring, Mackie's tiny SRM150 might just save the day.
I use this as a stage monitor for live performance, in small-medium sized clubs. Might not be powerful enough for a large rock room. Three-band eq gives you a nice opportunity to shape what you are hearing a bit. A great sound for a small, lightweight enclosure.

Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Sound, Light Weight, Nice 3-Band EQ
This is my second SRM150. I've owned my other one for about 10 years and it's still working great.
I have only had 1 chance to use this in a live setting but must say, this thing exceeds my expectations so far! We play in a fairly loud rock cover band, and i purchased this unit to help reduce my gear load by replacing my 15" wedge monitors.
I use this Mackie PA system for meeting with my church group weekly. During the week I use it to amplify my laptop system and in music production using Adobe Audition and Garageband. The size and weight is easy to transport. The built in mixer makes it easy to phantom power up to two mics.
Two these go on stage with us 60x a year. :) We use the On-Stage MS7700 stand. The fitting that comes with the monitor screws on the stand. A great match. The stand folds down small. :)

Durable, Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Sound, Highly Responsive
I own two of these now. Perfect hotspot monitor, even for drummers (can play plenty loud!). Variety of inputs make it useful in other venues, as well. I am a music teacher and have used this to demo music in classrooms and auditoriums. Great piece of gear!
I am using this in my living room for songwriting with a looper. I have to dime the volume, but the vocals are clear and crisp.
Im happy with it. Sound good enougth for me. It would be perfect witn a reverb inside.
This is a nice small system. I use it with a wireless bell mic on my sax when I play at church. it’s powerful enough to cut through with drums, keyboards and other electronic instruments playing...
Needed a nearfield mic stand mounted powered monitor so as not to contribute to escalating stage volume. The price was right, especially with the rebate, I was not disappointed, it does exactly waht I wanted.
