I got tired of using headphones and earbuds, but my computer speakers were awful, so I decided to step up to the Mackie CR4, and I'm happy I did. These speakers are for near field listening, not for filling your room with a wall of sound.
Affordable, great sound, easy setup. Well built, solid cabinets.
Bass may need minor tweaking
I have now bought 3 pairs of these for different locations, they're a low price with good accurate sound for a barebones amateur home studio. It would be 5 stars but 1 of my 3 pairs crapped out after about 2 years of use.
Easy to set up. Great sound.
These are fine speakers for the price. They can't compete with the volume of my amp, but I wouldn't really expect them to.
Good sound for a PC set, would pay double if same size and double the power.
Get the bigger ones for more bass. however these things bang! Much heavier than I thought they’d be. I paired them with an 18 for bass only and omg. Pound for pound best bang for the buck. Stupid clear highs too. If you can’t go rokit get these
Fantastic speakers at a great price. They sound very clean. I use them for music playback and to produce podcasts. Great value for the money.
Bought two sets of these for our studio. They do the job pretty well. Only complaint worth taking a star is that they get a bit of self-noise at higher volume. I'd suggest keeping the volume at 50% and using other points in your signal chain to boost the volume.
Bought these as reference monitors for home recording. They are just too easily overwhelmed and begin to distort and get fuzzy. I'm by no means cranking them up, but even at 3/4 volume with a reasonable signal (-3/-6 db), they distort (fuzzy) too much to be usable as true reference speakers.
Hello everyone, I'm an up an coming producer with little money. If you like me i swear to G cop this, no audio interface required, will be better than yalls computer speakers forsure. I like to think i have a good ear but the new frequencies that were coming outa this blew my mind.
