Logitech MK550 Wireless Wave Combo with Keyboard and Mouse

I have used many Logitech keyboards and mouse over the years. Hence when I was thinking about investing in a new combo, the choice was obviously Logitech. It was all about the model which I need to choose as the company was offering many combo products.

I was looking to replace my old mouse and keyboard and try something with a more ergonomic design. This combo did just the trick. Palm rest is integrated and not too soft, so no need to buy extra stuff. Mouse has some heft and features button on the side.

Currently at 7 months of use. After having other makes and Logitech models stop working or work intermittently it is still working. Keyboard and mouse are comfortable. Even though it was more expensive - when it comes to a keyboard and mouse, you get what you pay for.

This is my 3rd set in the past 5 years and the others still work on different systems.

I bought this keyboard and mouse combo to make it easier on my hands and wrists to be using the computer all day. They were very easy to set up. The keyboard supports my hand nicely, the keys are very responsive. The mouse fits nicely in my hand with the buttons where they are easy to reach.

Earlier this year I bought the Logitech 520.....a flat keyboard. I HATED it. I kept making mistakes and misplacing my fingers for months. Finally I chucked it and went for this Wave, which I have owned before. Perfect key positions and feels so good not to keep making errors.

Mouse is fine. I am replacing the keyboard with another Logitech product. This is the first Logitech item to fail me!

  The Keyboard keys stick and sometimes doesn't register. Often the keyboard isn't recognized by bios on start up and has to be rebooted

Love this combo. Keyboard is great. The curve helps with comfort as I'm a hunt-n-peck typist. Mouse if OK, except the side buttons are a bit awkward for left hand use. My fingers keep hitting them, so I have to turn them off in the utility. But other than that, it's very comfortable to use.

Every Logitech device I own performs flawlessly. And the MK550 lives up to that expectation. I recently purchased a new desktop (and now I must learn Windows 10; but that's a different story) and the included wired mouse and keyboard suck, i.e., are stiff, unresponsive and bothersome to use.
