The G413 is very similar to what we've seen before from Logitech, but stripped down to the bare essentials. You don't get colored lighting; you don't get extra keys; you don't even get a full plastic frame.

Mechanical keyboards have long been all the rage for gamers, as they provide a better typing and gaming experie

One of the more affordable mechanical keyboards on the market. Uses the same switches as Logitech’s high-end keyboards. Decent design with solid, if basic functionality.

The Romer-G key switches are a bit mushy. Lacks a wrist rest.
In a market that’s beginning to be saturated with gaming keyboards, how do you stand out from the crowd of rainbows and Cherry switches? Well, maybe ditch the rainbow and Cherry switches like Logitech’s G413 Carbon did.

Fast CPU, Great value

Only red backlighting
For something we spend hours and hours working with, the keyboard spent a long time as strictly a tool with little mind to either mechanics or aesthetics. We had ergonomic and regular and black and beige. For a long time, even getting a mechanical keyboard meant digging up an old IBM keyboard.
The rise in popularity of mechanical gaming keyboards has been accompanied by the spread of RGB backlighting. But RGBs, which often include intricate control systems and software, can significantly raise the price of an already expensive peripheral.
RGB lighting, glossy plastic, and ostentatious designs may appear to be the hallmarks of premium gaming keyboards today, but there’s also a growing awareness that a sizeable number of folks don’t want any of those things, even if they can afford it.
So, is the Logitech G413 going to make you 1337? No, but then no keyboard really will. What the G413 will do is provide a great experience for gamers. Something that may have helped typing ever so slightly is a wrist rest, especially with an asking price of R1 899 The use of two USB ports is a bit...
The best gaming keyboard you can buy for £100.

Single-colour backlighting, No dedicated macro keys
The Logitech G413 Carbon is one of the best and most inexpensive gaming keyboards on the market; however, in some small ways, it fails to meet the high bar Logitech has set for itself.

No dedicated media buttons, Slow USB 2.0 pass through
I bought one and then ended up buying two more for my other systems because I love it so much! The keyboard is soft to pressing and rated with a higher keypress endurance than your standard cherry mechnical switch keyboard. The LED shining through is nice, bright, and even.
I can't say enough good about Logitech products. They are by far my go-to for mice and keyboards. This keyboard is no exception. Great build quality, amazing design. I hope for this keyboard to last me many years, or until they come out with the next one!
This is my first mechanical keyboard and love the feel and sound. Very satisfying. Already bought two, buying a 3rd.
I've had this keyboard for a few weeks now and it's proving to be a great purchase. Very responsive and incredibly solid-feeling. I love the red lighting signature which works really well in my low-light editing suite.
Excellent keyboard for gaming with solid keysHeavy item too so won’t move around whilst playing1 star knocked off for slow Very delivery
Great keyboard. Hubs says it works well for his gaming. I use it for work and I love the smaller profile of this keyboard as compared to the older one we had.
I have always wanted a mechanical keyboard for my gaming and typing tasks, and this does not disappoint. The light-up keys are easy to read and the brightness of the illuminescence can be adjusted to one of 5 levels (including off). Keys are ultra-responsive to the touch.
