I use the Lensbaby Composer on my Canon and also Micro 4/3 (with adapter). The 35mm focal length is more useful for me. The adjustable aperture is much more practical than the drop in apertures of the 50mm.
I have only used this sweet 35 optic for a few times, taking flowers in an arrangement. I love the Composer Pro itself with the ease of changing aperture and focus, but in saying that, it is still quite a steep learning curve to get the focus spot-on.
This optic continues to bring out the creativity in my photography. I paired it with the macro converters for some of my flower shots.
Have used the product without any issues
Using this lensbaby sweet 35 for Senior portraits. Not a very solid stop at the f-stops, but it works. Like most Lensbaby stuff it is minimalist fun.
I use the Sweet Optic with my Lensbaby composer for artsy, narrow field of view images. The Sweet Optic simplifies aperture adjustment. Previously had to use magnetic tool to remove one aperture disc and replace with another. Now its a simple as rotating the aperture ring.
Love the Lensbaby Composer Pro but hated the changing of the discs to change aperture. Now with the Sweet 35 Optic it makes life much easier. Great addition to the Lensbaby line.
I'm using my Sweet 35 optic with my Composer and Scout. Makes changed aperture so much faster. I love my lens baby and use it for portraits and weddings.
I recently purchased a Lensbaby so that I could experiment with alternative types of portraiture, and found the optics that game with it to be acceptable but not much more than that.
This product eliminates the awkward changing of f-stop discs. The downside is that it does not accept accessories such as wide angle or telephoto lenses so one has to swap the optic out for one that does.
