Not for everyone., Too heavy for entry-level Lensbaby Spark.
I always enjoy getting a new lens, but this one has been extra fun because it is so different from my traditional lenses - it is forcing me to look at things differently so I get pleasing results. Fun Fun Fun - good way to get out of a rut.
I love this lens! it's a little hard to use since its all manual but with practice it becomes easier. I love the effect it gives to my photos
I already have a nice assortment of Fujinon lenses for the X-T20, but I wanted to try something different. This is my first experience with a non-Fujinon lens on the X-T20.First off, it does what it says its supposed to do and its a lot of fun to play around with it.
Steep learning curve and not easy to find where one CAN learn!
This lens is so much fun to use. It enables endless creativity and the results are spectacular. The build quality is superb and the lens is very sharp in the sweet spot.
I own a decent amount of lenses and I use multiple focal lengths (16mm and 200mm) to achieve different results and looks in my pictures. I liked the idea of Lensbaby and it provides a different rendering/look for sure!
This is my first Lensbaby but I'm sure it won't be my last. I have been on several walks in my neighboorhood photographing flowers and shrubs and have been happy with the results. I use a Canon 6D with the Lensbaby.
Not used it much yet but wanted to add to my collection of Lensbaby lenses. I've got the Sweet 35 but I thought a longer focal length would add to creative possibilities for flower photography. I think if I was starting over I would buy this lens first rather than the Sweet 35.
