For an APSC sized lens with an equivalent range of 80-200, this lens is small, light weight and very easy to handle. A similar Canon lens would weigh about 2 1/2 times the weight. Now Leica needs to step up their game and provide a camera body that is equal to this lens (and all other T lenses).
As indicated on specs,;high quality made or assembled in Japan....hard to tell' gets high quality pictures I am satisfied
The lens handles great on the CL. Image quality is excellent at low ISO and high shutter speed. However, when shooting birds in shady light, for example, I have to either crank up the ISO and accept worse IQ or accept camera shake at lower speeds. Also, it is not quite long enough for my needs.
A light weight and compact zoom lens which goes beautifully hand in hand with my TL2. Sharp images and works wonderfully.
