Small, very sharp and easy to use. Fantastic. I wished the focus knob was more smoother and less plasticky feeling. I wish the eye relief is more forgiving. You really have to have the ocular width aligned perfectly to have a good look, but with practice, youll get it unfolded to the right size...
As you would expect from Leica and for the price, these have terrific optical quality. I keep them in my pocket for birding when I am out walking and do not want to carry full size bins. Obviously, 8x20 leaves you with a narrower field of view. The construction quality and weight are excellent.
Very lightweight, great optics. Might make these my main binos rather than the full size ones! Only downside is they dont come with any lens covers.
I bought these about 25 years ago to use for hiking and climbing. Not only were they the brightest and clearest of all the compacts I tested, eye fatigue was non-existent. Fast forward ~25 years and they still perform as tested. They've held up well too.
Lightweight, clear and bright. For the money the best value in compact binoculars.I do not wear corrective lenses/glasses.Field of view may be narrow for hunting given the objective.
I watched a video review of these binoculars but still was not prepared for how small and comfortable to handle they turned out to be. I bought them to take on trips and haven't done that yet but I'm confident they will be exactly what I had in mind.
The binoculars are everything I was looking for...high quality, compact, great optics. I was a little surprised at the case. Although the binoculars come with a strap to wear around your neck, not so with the case. The case does have a belt loop and while nicely padded, is bulky.
These little things are astounding. Been watching nature for 40 years and I've always scrimped on binoculars - oh, the wasted years. This was on the grounds that I am often watching stuff "on the hoof" while doing other things like walking the dog, etc.
My Binoculars are covered under lifetime warranty but because I do not have a proof of purchace they will not honor the warranty. The binoculars were good while they worked but the right lens gas escaped and the lens became dirty distorted on the inside.
Leica - no need to add. But if have to - stunnig sharp and vivid view, superb ergonomics and more.
