Excellent quality compact binoculars, that are small, light and tough enough for you to take pretty much anywhere and should last you a lifetime. Are they worth the rather hefty price tag?
I needed a high quality compact pair of binoculars to put in my vehicle. I have owned a pair of 8X20 B Leica for over 30 years and wanted something a little more powerful. Same great quality and ease of use. Price in today's marketplace is actually a good value for the best.
I own or have owned just about every brand of binocular on the market. This is my first pair of Leica's, I am very pleased with them. I have not used them for hunting yet but for sporting events. The clarity is excellent and they are amazingly bright for a compact.
I bought these and the Leica Trinovid £800 bins. These have a smaller field of view than the Trinovids but still perfectly adequate and the clarity of view is stunning - perfect colours - I think they are even better than the Trinovids.
Dynamite comes in small packages! These 10x25s are so compact I take them everywhere. I have 10x42 Swarovski EL, they are nice but it's like carrying a suitcase. My 10x25 Ultravid's are clear, crisp and very compact. Don't let the small size fool you, that are a value.Bill,Houston,Tx.
Expensive, but the quality is undeniable
I use these binoculars as an all-around tool, from sky watching and boating to going to the opera (admittedly their field of view is really not optimal for this purpose - too small by far - but they're great for looking at the singers themselves).
Excellent quality, as is expected from Leica
Great binoculars. Much clearer and sharper than others I have owned (Pentax?Nikon) although to be fair these cost twice the price. Superb quality and worth it. Not sure why they do not come with lens caps but otherwise very impressed.
primarily used for turkey hunting. works great, light compact and very clear
Beautifully engineered optics, very high clarity and so quick to focus which my previous bino's were not. Compact, lightweight and really feel good to hold and carry. Very few stockists was my only drawback.
