Gets clothes clean!!
We have used this washer to wash everything from a king sized comforter, towels, active wear , dog bedding and more. This washer handled everything with ease. The AI wash works well and the 30 minute wash cyle is a huge time saver. Everything gets very wet during the wash cycle and the clothes come out feeling and smelling clean. The spin cycle does a good job so the dryer cycle time is also a lot shorter. We love the app as. Our laundry room is in the basement so there's no more guessing if the washer is done. We were so impressed with this washer that we ended up buying the matching dryer . We highly recommend this washer.

Great washer/dryer combo
My wife wanted a large capacity washer with hand wash/wool setting. This is pretty much the only one out there. Bosch makes a front load, but it’s a compact one. Speed Queen makes a top load but it is not suitable for wool because it has an agitator and does not have Wi-Fi compatibility. This LG has all the bells and whistles, including a wide selection of wash cycles, Wi-Fi/Alexa/smartphone compatibility, large capacity. I only wish the detergent/fabric softener drum would accommodate more loads. The warranty is a standard 1 year warranty, but the drum and motor have longer warranties. This is my first front load and LG product. So far, so good.

AghhhMAZING washer
I absolutely love this washer. It's really easy to use and the automatic soap dispenser allows for my kids to wash clothes with over using laundry soap. It is super quiet. I also love that you can change the music when the cycle is done. I can wash during nap time and my toddler hears nothing . I am also able to wash my king size comforter and it cleans it thoroughly. The cycles are fast and quiet. The AI is great when you are in a rush

Washer is nice, features are not thought out
The app is pretty bad experience. For example even if the washer is on and running a cycle, I can’t download preset settings (must be on but not running a cycle). The washer and app both show names but there isn’t any reference to what they are (what is Cycle Optimization?). Lastly, the e dispense is physically working yet the app says that it isn’t, but shows an image that seems like it’s going to show me the levels as they go down, but it doesn’t, yet again all the controls in ezdispense are disabled if the washer is off, or on and running a cycle.
As for the washer, very large capacity, well thought out, AI is confusing. I do like the ezDispense and ability to turn off when I do wool/down. Also presets urge me to wash things I’ve never washed before.

Delivers what it promises
Fantastic clothes washer. Key purpose was to get a washer that can handle a California King thick comforter. We went into the store with ours to do a fit. When we got the washer home to actually wash the comforter, the washer did a great job.
The phone app is neat as well since it opens up more wash cycles and it is faster to set up the washer for the next load.
Another nice feature is that when the washer reports 50 minutes, the load is done in that time. Our last washer took over 20 minutes to finish the last minute.

Great machine with one exception
I bought this washing machine a few months ago. It only uses a small amount of detergent and has excellent features and options for washing clothes. It also washes the clothes faster than my previous LG. The only problem I found is once a month I need to run a tub, clean a couple of times because the drum has a smell to it, I’ve never had to do this before and I’ve had other LG washers. After running the tub clean twice it works great for another month or so. We used detergent with no fragrance in it so I don’t know why this is happening.

Love it; ThinQ app is a must!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG washer and it works tremendously well! The one caveat is that you have to use the ThinQ app to get full functionaility. Honestly, the UI of the washer is much more complicated compared to the previous generation. I don't mind using the app, but I can see it being a dealbreaker for someone who isn't tech-savvy. I love the recent update that gives you an estimate for cycle duration based on the load. One difference compared to my last washer (4.5cu ft) is it doesn't seem stressed out during the spin cycle, even when full of towels.

Clothes come out super clean
I've had my new washer for two weeks now, and so far it has been working great , clothes comes out very clean. I originally wanted the model without the fancy control knob, but it wasn't available, so I ended up getting this one.
My only concern is longevity. With all the added technology and electronics, I wonder how well it will hold up over time. I'm a bit old-school and tend to prefer simpler machines with durable, long-lasting mechanical components rather than a lot of high-tech features.
Overall, though, I'm very happy with it so far.
