I have an older model LG washer-dryer combo unit. Bought it early 2005 when we moved to this 2,000 st home from our 800 st duplex. What we noticed was that our gas bill was the same as it was at our old house.

As advertised the unit has difficulty drying. You need to keep the loads small and it still takes 3+ hours to dry. Despite the shortcomings, the convenience of one unit doing both wash and dry makes the unit worth it.

purchased this item because of the need to save space...I still need to learn how to better use the dryer part of the product..but so far, I love it..

Most items seem to wash and dry just fine, however, towels come out stinking like old socks regardless of setting. I am ready to take this as an expensive experiment and buy a new washer and separate dryer for this reason alone.

I've had this washer/dryer combo for about 4 months and it's much better than the prior product I had in the space. This is the kind of appliance you get when you don't have the room for a separate washer and dryer, but would like to have a washer and dryer.

I have been using the washer/dryer combo and find that it fits my life style. I can put the clothes in and leave. When I come back everything is done. There is no moving the laundry from washer to dryer. This is very convenient.

I bought this Machine because I have 2 small kids and a full time job didn't have the time to remember to transfer clothing from the washer to a dryer..When I found this machine online I was doubtful, but it works wonders.Its easy to set for each wash.

I have owned my washer/dryer combo for a little over a year. I thought the convenience of the washer and dryer would compensate for the lack of drying time, but I was wrong. Even when set for the maximum drying time of 2 1/2 hours, I still need at least another hour to get the load dry.
