An AWESOME Washer/Dryer Combo If "Short" on Space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer and dryer combo was a lifesaver for us. We recently moved into a house where we needed the stacked washer and dryer to fit in am opening only 71" tall. There aren't many options if you encounter this kind of restriction and we were so thankful that LG had a solution. Overall, this machine leaves our clothes smelling fresh and perfectly dry. It's a quiet unit and looks great.
Honestly, some of the reviews I've read about these machines are just downright hilarious: "The washer is small and doesn't hold as much as a commercial washer," or, "The wash cycle takes forever," or "There are too many features on this machine and it's confusing," etc. Okay, so, all statements are true, but LG didn't try to hide any of these facts. It's advertised as a "Compact Smart" washer and dryer. It's meant for being installed where space is lacking. It holds up to 2.4 cubic feet of clothing which is significantly less if you're used to using a commercial washer or a home machine that has the more standard 4.5 cubic foot capacity or larger. It's a Smart Washer (and dryer). It calculates the correct amount of time your clothes need to be washed (or dried) based on the weight of the load it's washing (or drying). You can download and customize your own washing and drying settings. The hefty manuals included will tell you how to do so, but for those of us that don't have the patience or know-how, the presets and touch screen panel are very intuitive and easy to operate.
Some tips: Get some pros to install this. If you purchase both machines, it will include the mounting brackets. Further, they'll level the unit(s) correctly ensuring proper drainage. You want faster wash and dry cycles? Wash and dry smaller laundry loads. Do not overload the machines - they will not wash or dry optimally (and you could end up breaking the machine).
We are a family of three (3), the youngest being 7 and generally have a half a dozen loads of laundry each week that includes our clothes, sheets and towels. Having the unit linked to our phones to let us know when wash or drying is complete has been super helpful. This is a great unit if you understand the parameters of what it offers.

Quiet, compact, perfect space saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer about 2 weeks and am in LOVE with it. My neighbors no longer hear me washing early in the morning. Very quiet even when spinning on high. I have matching dryer stacked and not really any vibration issues. Easy operation and no issues about how long it takes to wash. I use 30 min fast cycle and clothes come out perfect. Have washed all kinds of loads inc queen sheet set.

Seems like clothes get cleaner and certainly more water spins out vs. my old top loader. The clothes don't get tangled together, either. I am a bit concerned about the amount of water that stays in the seal around the inside of the washer door. I try to wipe it out after each wash but will always find another small puddle after finishing. I've been keeping the door slightly open to limit mold growth and will keep an eye on it. Otherwise, I love the way it works and looks!

Small and Mighty

This washer has been absolutely amazing. Obviously a little on the small size compared to other models, but surprisingly big for a small washer and does a great job getting my clothes clean. The smart tech feature are also super cool and I get notifications when my wash is complete. This washer is perfect for anyone that has space constraints.

Good product, great value, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a month ago and we have been fairly happy with the performance. The quick wash cycle is very efficient, and overall does a nice job of cleaning even with heavy loads. The spin cycle is amazingly silent and there is no shudder. The drum does tend to stay too wet and it is strange not being able to see through the glass door because it is overly tinted.
Still, a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, it's perfect. I have no complaints at all. The smaller size is great for me as I live alone. It washes everything, even my king sized duvet insert. It washes my clothing clean, better than at the laundromat. It does take longer than regular machines to wash I guess, loads start at around 50m but I spent a year abroad in the EU and that's how the washers are there so I'm used to it. I also love the integration with my phone so that I can get notifications and do remote start. Really satisfied and I can't wait to get the matching dryer.

Unfortunately, a tear occurred in the rubber gasket for the door and due to the way the water fills it began to leak significantly. We requested a service call. LG and their service partners were on the issue immediately. Communication from both LG and the service person was GREAT! Our washer was repaired in quick fashion and is back to running perfectly.
