[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WKEX300HBA has turned out to be a fantastic appliance. It works exactly as advertised. You don't think that you have a reason for so many different settings until you have them! Having the laundry center detergent reservoir was another thing I didn't know I wanted until I had it. We have had no issues with it and it has worked flawlessly. Make sure you measure for the power cord and place in your room for the left swinging doors. We love LG products in general and this is another winner.

I fell in love with this when I saw it because of the deign but now that I have it I love it even more. My cloths have never been cleaner. The AI feature sences load size and how dirty the cloths are and dispenses just enough detergent to do the proper job. My tower is incorporated into my kitchen and it blends right in and is so quiet when running. Love that everything can connect to the AP and notifications when your wash and dry are complete so cloths dont sit in the machine longer that they have to. I highly recommend a Wash Tower

I have been wanting this washer/dryer for so long and was recently able to purchase it and I LOVE it. It washes and drys so quickly. The Tower even has WiFi that informs me when the laundry is finished and allows me to control certain features.
It gives me so much more space in my laundry room that my husband was able to build storage closets.
Would definitely recommend this product.

Absolutely No Buyers Remorse
After having our machine for over 1 month and using it regularly, I can say that I truly enjoy washing clothes in it. I love all the settings, the fact that you can operate the machine via the app, the special songs it can play to alert you when a load is finished, but my most favorite thing about it is the EZ dispense feature. I absolutely love that I do not have to manually dispense detergent and softener with each and every load. Now I just need to figure out how my machine could automatically fold my clothes for me!

Too Reliant on the Phone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish more than anything that this system wasn’t reliant on the app to use. IMO the app should have been supplemental and not a must for every day use. On the machine you get up to 3 settings to adjust. The other settings are only available from the phone. See my screenshots. I don’t understand why not have the ability to scroll up on the machine’s screen to get to these settings, why only available on the phone? Means I always have to have my phone to manage laundry, it’s infuriating. Also, it’s problematic for house guests. I have a frequent guest who has allergies and I keep “clear and free” pods around. But he must use my phone so the machine doesn’t auto dispense.
My other annoyance is that there is no way to manually input the settings you want from scratch. You can only choose pre selected profiles. Some of which you cannot change settings for. Why can there not be a profile-free operation where I just choose the individual items I want for that load? This isn’t an option from the machine of the phone app.
The machine performs well. The user operation is not well thought out. It frustrates me and my guests. If knew this before buying I would have gotten something different.

What a great machine!
First of all, let's start with looks. This unit is slick looking. I love the black color we got. We had someone in our home delivering furniture and he peaked in our bathroom on the way by and stopped in his tracks. He wanted to check it out and chat about it.
Next is functionality. This is just a clever design! We had side by side front loading units before and wanted to stack to save space, but the problem with doing that with normal front loading units is the dryer controls are on the top front of the unit which 6 feet high. My wife is 5'2" which makes this problematic.
Having the controls in the center make this a game changer. As well, the looks of an all in one unit that is actually full size (we got the 5.0 size) is awesome! The unit works awesome. Washing machine and dryer work wonderfully.

Don’t buy this…
I bought the Lg washer dryer tower a few months ago. I love the look and that it takes up less space. But I hate the way it makes my clothing smell…it’s gross… you have to clean out a filter at the front bottom of the machine at least once a week. But often that’s not even enough. It’s ridiculous how this set up is. There is no easy way to clean it. Get on the floor take it apart clear it out put it back together. And after emptying and cleaning the filter you will need to wash out the washing machine. Good luck getting rid of the smell. I have tossed out a lot of clothes because the smell stays in the fabric.
I should have just bought the cheaper (much cheaper) top load washer with a matching dryer. It saves money and I wouldn’t have to clean it out like I do this one. And I would still have several of my favorite clothes…

Easy to use, quiet, and many helpful features
We retired, moved, and left our old washer and dryer with the home we sold. After some addition construction in our north woods weekend home turned permanent home, we turned a small bedroom into a laundry area and half bath so decided to go with a stackable washer and dryer as the laundry space was limited. We did our research and decided on the the LG WKEX300HBA and am really happy we did. We absolutely love our new unit. The instructions and display are easy to follow, has a wide variety of features to use, and is really quiet. Above all, it cleans and dries wonderfully. Our contractor tried it out when he had it installed and even he and his workers were impressed with the looks of it and the ease of use. And now, even my husband is helping with the laundry. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a stackable laundry center. Thank you LG for a top-notch product!
