Major component failure before it was 1 year old
I'm very disappointed in my WashTower. On month before the end of its first year the washer had a major failure. The washer started making a loud noise while in the spin cycle. I tried all the online help and the recommendation from LG. The until stopped working al together with a "te" error. That's when I noticed the hole in the wash tub. The Tech that came out said the tub had "slid on the drive shaft". He stated that he had to order parts and it could be several weeks before they can repair the unit. I'm now on my 2nd week of having to go to the laundromat. Needless to say I'm not very satisfied with the WashTower or LG

Our old washer went out and we were in the market for a new washer when we came upon this dual washer/dryer tower combo. I am a short woman (5'1) and many of the washer dryer towers have the knobs at the top which would make it very difficult for me to reach and read, besides this allows your children/teens to do their own laundry and who wouldn't like that?? The controls on this are between the units and have easy to read or interpret for everyone! This was by far the best decision we made to purchase this washer/dryer tower. It has a Wi-Fi option that pings your phone so you know when the wash or dryer cycle is complete. Absolutely love this!

I HATE this machine!
No matter how little laundry detergent you put in the machine randomly determines there are too many suds and the load continues forever until the machine randomly determines there are no suds. The worst feature ever is when the stupid machine displays "SUD" and then runs for fully another hour. The worst part is that I'm using HE detergent and I'm filling it WELL below the max fill line...literally using only two tablespoons of detergent. I hate that the machine holds my laundry hostage because it WRONGLY believes that there are too many suds. This is the worst machine I've ever purchased. I hate it with a passion.

Quiet and Stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having recently moving into our newly purchased (30 year old) home. It became apparent that the old washer/ dryer stacked appliances would need soon need replacement. Upon seeing this handsome unit and having done some research, this became an easy choice.
The older unit "told" you when it was working. This new combo unit announces its end of cycle with pleasant, musical tones. Otherwise it is surprisingly quiet.
This family of five, finds that this handsome appliance, easily keeps up with our laundry demands, efficiently and quietly. Added bonus: It looks Awesome!

Love the smart design!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving the stacked washer/dryer combo. It is THE ONLY stacked combo we could find that has the controls for both the washer and the dryer in the center for easy access. Thank you, LG designers and engineers!!! All the other models we saw have the dryer controls on top of the stack, way beyond my reach. PLUS the controls are clear and easy to understand. AND it's quiet. AND the drums are as big as our old side-by-side washer and dryer. AND it sings a cheerful tune instead of ending a cycle with an annoying buzzer. Overall an excellent product.

Great Machines but Door NOT Reversible
I got these delivered last Wednesday and look an work great. But only problem is that the Specs say that doors are reversible but really are NOT REVERSIBLE!!! I have 36” in front of my machines an it’s annoying having to duck under the door or having to close the door just to get to the left side of the machines. I guess LG didn’t think the swings would be an issue.
So Buyer beware - please check the door swing on this unit and make sure it won’t be an issue with your laundry room set up.

Unexpected thrill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not think a man could get excited about a machine, maybe a new gun, or truck. My kids insisted I get the tower because my wife (84, me 85) had to go down the basement to do washing. So the Tower came to my house. I have never been around a washing machine
that works so silently, efficiently, and turns out clothes that are amazingly not only clean, but fluffy and soft like brand new. I am the boss of the wash day duty now and thrill to see how the pair work during the several cycles. The LG technology is just fantastic. I heartily
recommend the product to any and all who want a space-age laundry marvel.
