I converted a bedroom closet into a laundry center. I purchased this one piece set to replace my side by side set. This unit is incredibly quiet. Emits very little heat inside the closet. And the capacity is outstanding. I just washed and dried a king sized comforter.

Purchased in January of 2021 - we looked at several before deciding that the LG would be our best choice. The primary factor was where the controls for the washer and dryer were located. The center control panel means no stooping and no reaching - very important as you get older.

So the washer and dryer are the same size as a full size washer and dryer. The amount of water in the washtub was an issue for me, i had a front loader before that did not wash the clothes well. I am so happy with the washing process in this washer.

This unit looks sleek and modern. I love the lighted drums, the cycle finish tunes, and the easy to reach control panel. It is quiet, both washing and drying. However there is quite a learning curve for me and my laundry routines to accommodate the Washtower operation.

I bought this a month ago. Make sure cord your cord can reach the outlet and hose is long enough. Too short for where I wanted to put it. I had to use extensions, although they don't recommend it. I had no choice, but it worked out ok. Item is not returnable.

I have had this since May 2022 and it performs great.
