Ever since the first rumors of laser projectors hit the market, we’ve been excited to try them out in person. We did have the opportunity to experience earlier models, but their incredibly high prices made them prohibitively expensive for most consumers.
After months of research ,I decided to purchase the LG - HF80JA projector. There are hardely any reviews about this projector. Very happy with this Laser projector. For the price point and all the awesome specs, It is by far the best option for HD 1080p Laser projector.

Color was nice out of the box, as well as the WebOS and remote. You have to watch it in complete darkness for the best result just like any projector. It is connected to my AVR where my bluray and computer is attached. The image is projected to a 120 inch screen.
This is a great device when you considers it's size. Hook a laptop up to with a blu-ray player and link it to a wireless soundbar and you have a neat little portable projection system, that to my eye gives a good clean and true picture.
Great image. Love how large it projects. Super user friendly with the LG OS and smart remote. While it has a good level of brightness, you will still struggle with dark images if watching with natural sunlight in the room. Blackout curtains should be part of your plan for daytime viewing
Once I figured out how everything worked I enjoyed this projector. It was delivered with Japanese instructions and the set-up is not intuitive. I went online and found a short LG manual that helped me to figure out how to do the basic setup.
nice projector but it has the worst operating system ( WEB OS)... its loads super slow (looks like the processor in this projector is from 1990s)... there are no apps like hulu or hbo. cant control the intensity of the projector light. the power adapter is a size of a brick.
Too many free product reviews. When almost every review is for a free $1500 product, it is suspicious. I would not buy it

Perfect for the bedroom. I have a 120" image with the projector about 8" from the wall. Projected directly onto off-white wall, and it's plenty bright for a bedroom.
This is an amazing addition to our home. We used to have a 59 inch TV, which we actually thought was large! It does not even compare to the full wall size TV we're now watching via this home theater.
