It's monitor review time, and today we're checking out the LG 27GP850. This is the true successor to the LG 27G
I haven't updated my monitor in years but after building a new PC it was time. I did a lot of research and finally settled on this 27" LG UltraGear. I've been using it for about a month and I absolutely love the picture.
I love this product and have been using it for a month already. I mostly do photo editing and gaming, and the colors are really good for both. The 180 hz is also a plus because I mostly play competitive games, and when I play other games such as triple A titles, I switch to 1440p and everything...
This monitor is truly amazing with it's picture quality. The monitor came in precalibrated, color's saturation is just right and everything looks lively. LG's gaming monitors are known for having weak contrast ratio, but it is not a problem because it can only be seen with close attention to...
I wanted a monitor that I could use for both gaming and design work, and this monitor works well for me so far. Pros: The monitor's Srgb mode works well enough for my work with Adobe suite and Maya. Eventually, I might calibrate its gamer1 mode for even better color accuracy.
PROS- -LGs New Nano IPS -Amazing Color accuracy for those who want to use for photography and video editing. -Refresh rate @165 Hz Can be Overclock @180Hz on monitor settings -Resolution 2560 x 1440 -No Ghosting -10 Bit depth -2x USB ports 3.1 -1 Displayport 1.4 -Color Gamut 98% DCI-P3, 98% CIE1976...
Beautiful picture quality and great response time and very little input lag. HDR isn't all that great but I don't really use it. Would recommend calibrating a little bit to your liking. But all in all a very good purchase.
High quality high rest perfect mount overall good purchase
With both crisp 1440p resolution and refresh rate overclockable to 180hz, this monitor is amazing for gaming. However, the wide colour gamut with 137% sRGB and 98% DCI P3 coverage means that his monitor is also great for media consumption and creative work, making it an all-around great display.
