For many years, resolution was the only thing anyone cared about on a monitor. But we’ve reached a point of visual clarity where resolution is no longer king. Depending on the size of your screen, improving other aspects of design can take precedence.
The LG 27GL850 is a great 1440p monitor. It has outstanding motion handling, with one of the fastest response times we've ever measured...
Recently, we named the LG 27GL850 the best gaming monitor on the market after several weeks of testing. This 1440p 144Hz display impressed us due to its excellent colour reproduction and motion handling, while a few missing features were forgiven thanks to its relatively affordable sub-$500 price...
A detailed look at the new 27" 1440p high refresh rate IPS gaming display from LG. With a DCI-P3 gamut, 1ms G2G response time spec and 144Hz refresh rate. Can it live up to all the hype?
This monitor is fantastic. I recently bought all three panel types to get a first hand comparison of them all. They were a 240 hz acer TN panel, 120 hz ultrawide viotek VA panel and this screen. I can’t feel the difference between 240 and 144 hz.
The gaming on this monitor is incredible. I can't believe how far IPS technology has come. The Nano-IPS colors are fantastic. The only thing to warn people about is that you must remember this is an IPS panel which means that the blacks and low light scenes will not be as dark as you might be used...
The colors are so vivid and crisp, games look so much better and there is no shadowing t all, usually the tech industry gives us product with minimal improvements but this monitor is a huge jump in the quality of gaming monitors!

I've really enjoyed this monitor so far. I was experiencing some screen splitting issues when playing on my PC with my previous monitor (max 60Hz refresh rate), and switching to this monitor immediately fixed that issue. I like that it's QHD, and the quality and sharpness of the picture is solid.
Best monitor I've ever owned. Bought this primarily for gaming, and couldn't be happier. Playing games at 1440p 144hz is really incredible and silky smooth, and the quick response time is excellent.

Great color and response time for my digital art and gaming needs, but there are some issues.. - The stand base design is not good as it wobbles with the slightest movement. - There is bad backlight bleed on the left side of the screen which makes 1/8 of the screen unusable for color work, dark...
Before purchase, I was comparing it to other gaming monitor like Acer, Dell, Samsung, etc.., and I am glade that I have made a decision to pick this one, I had it for about 3 weeks now, it had the best picture quality and performance.

The monitor came in and it looks amazing! I will update if there are any changes to my experiences with the product, only down side is that the text are kinda small and make it hard to read and the work around to that is to change the apps and text size up to 125% but that kinda sacrifices quality.
This monitor ticks all the right boxes high refresh rate and great colour accuracy good viewing angles this had everything the build quality is also good of you're looking for all in one monitor look no further I highly recommend this product
I won't buy an Asus monitor again after owning this screen. The color reproduction is the best I've seen along with other industry firsts. Pros +Nano IPS allows 98% DCI-P3 Color Gamut Range +No Backlight Bleed +Incredible stand adjustments +Thin Bezels +144hz & 1ms GTG +Menu Nub Cons -Power Brick...
