LG's UltraFine 4K Display (24MD4KL-B) is a pin-sharp, if pricey, pick as a Mac-friendly monitor, designed to pair with an Apple desktop or laptop equipped with Thunderbolt 3.

The LG UltraFine 24MD4KL is a great monitor for fledgling photo and video editors. Its high resolution and color accuracy make it a perfect fit for anyone getting creative work done. However, the high price point and thick bezels make it hard to recommend for most everyday users.

Incredible color accuracy, Bright and vivid, USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 compatibility

Expensive, Thick bezels
The monitor's image quality is excellent, which, given LG's reputation, was not a surprise. What was wonderful and fool proof was the ability to daisy chain my Arrow audio interface and Wacom graphics pad to my MacPro through the LG Thunderbolt and USB ports. Really terrific.

ease of use, Features/Settings, Quality
I'm using this LG monitor with my MacBook Pro. The connection is very easy. I was a bit shocked at first since it has no buttons or anything but all feature can be controlled through the Mac. I still wish there is a on/off button and light adjustment and a camera.

Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
I don't have a whole lot to say other than it serves its purpose as a secondary monitor to my Macbook Pro. Visuals are clear and I am not experiencing any weird issues. I really like the ease of adjusting the height and tilt of it. Much easier than other monitors I have owned in the past.

ease of use, Performance, Quality
This monitor is the closest thing to the Apple retina screen from a MacBook Pro or an iMac. I just wish it had a faster refresh rate like the iPad Pro and thinner bezels. The stand doesn't give much range from a height standpoint, but this monitor mounts easily on a mount.

I've been using the monitor for about a year now. I bought this monitor to work from home but as I also do photography as a hobby I wanted a monitor with a very good picture quality, I haven't been disappointed.

Performance, Quality
This was a welcome option for me because I take my laptop to my vacation home. Much cheaper than buying another iMac and quality is great!

Monitor started dying within a few weeks of receiving. Less than 2 months completely dead.
Well, of course, the monitor produces a pretty picture. I expect no less of LG. But, the plug and play daisy chain capacities was amazing.

Features/Settings
This is by far the best tv purchase ever. The picture quality was so great that even though my big screen was only a year old I had to by this new LG.
