Well, here's my review of this LG 43". Let me set the stage so you can understand the context of where I'm coming from for this review.I've been running 4x Samsung SyncMaster 930B's since 2005 (19" 5:4); yes, that's 12 years on the same monitors.
So I have had this monitor for a month and I must say that it is AMAZING. At first it took a while to get used to because it is so much bigger than most displays that people have. Before, I had an average sized monitor so it took awhile to get used to.

I purchased this monitor for my office. It is a really large display. People are impressed when they visit and see it. I run a 30’ HDMI cable around the room so I can have my MacBook Pro 2013 on one end of the room and my large display and wireless keyboard on the other side on of the room, on my...
I was expecting the complaints about a 'shadow' around the inside edge to bug me, but I hadn't noticed it and forgot to look for it. The shadowing/fuzziness is there, but if you aren't locked into nitpicking a giant budget 4K, this thing is awesome.
LG makes great products. I bought this in hopes to run two of them. The monitors themselves a download called "onscreen control". Once you download "onscreen control" you can partition your monitor however you desire off of one input.
The size is amazing but not without its own unique challenges. Namely, I hope you have a deep desk.Because of the sheer size of this monitor the viewing distance is greater than you’ve likely grown used to even if you’ve been using multiple 27” monitors.
This screen works great. It sleeps when my computer sleeps and wakes when my computer wakes. I have not had any issues. No dead pixels. It has been very nice to have a screen large enough that I could have multiple screens open on the same monitor. I can easily work in 4 windows.
I've only had the monitor a few weeks, but it has become indispensable. I use it mainly for document preparation, spreadsheets, web surfing, and gaming. Videos and movies look incredible on this monitor.
This monitor is great. Picture is crisp, and the many inputs sold it for me. USB-c, dvi, and four hdmi inputs. Also comes with a built in kvm switch! Sound is decent enough to enjoy TV and Movies. All in all, very happy with my purchase.
I use this working from home as an IT pro for over 10 hours a day and has been the best monitor I have ever used
