LG SP7Y 440W Virtual 5.1-Channel Soundbar System (2021)

The SP7Y was the soundbar that was missing from LG’s lineup that could close the gap between their 3.1 channels units and the higher Dolby Atmos capable ones. It doesn’t offer anything outside of the ordinary but in the end you shouldn’t expect anything else.

I bought this soundbar to connect with my 65" LG OLED television. The 2 devices integrate together nicely and the sound from the soundbar is very good. I also linked the soundbar to an Alexa device via bluetooth so I could play music through the soundbar as part of my whole house music system.

The sound bar fits in the cutout width wise of my 48 inch LG telivision.

I bought this as an option to upgrade my previous sound bar. The main thing I was looking for was the higher channel count to get fuller sound. I didn't want options requiring speakers placed all over the room. The exception is with the subwoofer.

I received this soundbar for a discounted rate for my honest opinion and review. The LG SP7Y has great quality sound. It is a 5.1 channel if two rear channels are added. Subwoofer was great. Easy to hook up to my phone and to the tv. Great all around.

I bought SP7Y sound bar system a few weeks ago and cannot get over how good it sounds. The sound really fills up the entire room, clear and crisp highs and lows. My living room now sounds like a movie theater.

Purchased a few months ago and I'm very impressed with how good this sounds. Very easy to set up, and I love that the TV remote can control the soundbar too.

Excellent sound and easy setup and well worth the money.

Good sounding sound bar but not being able to turn off the display is unacceptable. The dim setting is way too bright and very distracting. My older Sony and Samsung sound bars both allow the displays to be turned off. I checked the manual and there is no mention of this design flaw.

Subwoofer is on and working but it has very little bass even with the subwoofer setting maxed out.

I bought for my wife as a gift and it works very well. Sounds like we have surround sound quality even though it's just a sound bar. Highly recommend
