LG 10,000 BTU Thru-the-Window Air Conditoner - Energy Star

So my bedroom is rather large, consisting of 10 windows, all of which are circa 1960s single pane glass with no insulation so the summers get pretty bad. I just installed the LG 10,000 BTU unit and man I’m actually having nights where I’m too cold now which never happened with my older AC unit.

installation was a breeze. the unit is quiet and more powerful than i expected. it's uses a little more electric than i expected but only by a little maybe 10 or 15 more a month. it's cooling a bedroom and bathroom of about 200 sq ft with no problem even when it's in the 90's.

This is a great ac , real quit even on high speed. Cools down my 20 x20 master bedroom fast , then put it on Econo cool and it keeps room at the right temp. Easy to install , comes with all the parts need to do a window install. Love it.

Works amazing! I've had it up for almost a month and it's an awesome air conditioner, worth every penny.

Installed 2 weeks ago, just in time for some 90 degree days and 80 degree nights. This unit cools a 500 square foot area to 72 degrees in about 15 minutes. After desired temperature is achieved, "power saver" maintains comfort without the compressor constantly engaged.

I am very disappointed that my new 10,000 BTU window a/c makes a very annoying, impossible to ignore, rhythmic thrumming sound every few seconds when the compressor is working. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

After 2 months still very satisfied. Extremely quiet, electric bill slightly lower, all the right features. If this machine proves durable and long lasting, it's a winner. We shall see.

I just have this window AC unit for 2 weeks, but it has been working everyday because of this tough hot weather. So far it is working fine and keep all my living room/dining rooms so cold and comfortable, it is not noisy, and no issues so far to report.

The LG 10,000 BTU air conditioner very well made. All working components are centered for excellent balance and all copper coils. Does an excellent job cooling a large area and is very quiet while running. Very impressed and pleased with this product.

So far this AC unit is working just fine in our kitchen.....cooling very well and is quieter than expected. With all the very hot weather that has been occurring I am thankful we made the purchase when we did.
