Help,
We just ordered and received this beautiful refrigerator this week. We cleaned out the ice and water and thought we were good. Then we opened the freezer door and the ice container fell when it was full of ice and broke one of the shelves. We had used the door several times in the last three days prior placing new items inside and had not touched the ice maker again and then this happened. Where would we go to buy a new shelf? How do we make sure the ice maker is seated properly when we had thought we had done so and come to find several days later that it can just fall down? Have no idea what to do from here. Can someone please email me back?

Gotta keep it neat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were in the market for a new fridge and we researched everything. The LG was a perfect match! The side-by-side was intriguing as we were replacing a French door style. One of our concerns was if the freezer would hold a frozen pizza-and it does! The roominess on both sides have been optimal. The transparent door really makes one “keep it neat “ and we have a really good looking interior, if I say so myself! We have been very pleased with the standard ice and the craft ice, kinda fancy!! We would certainly recommend this fridge and are very pleased we purchased it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been having this for a year now and it still looks amazing. I love how deep the shelved are, i can put a large aluminum pan into the refrigerator. I love the craft Ice, it gives guest the feeling of high class drinking. Also, the vegetables trays are really deep and contain a lot of food. It was my main reason for buying it because I am vegan. And lastly the glamorous front tap door is a great upgrade to my kitchen. The refrigater is great the best I have owned food stays at a great temperature effortlessly.

Horrible door bin/shelf design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like everything about the fridge BUT LG designed flawed system to hold door/bins. When we shut the doors bins/shelves fall off the shallow/small mounts. Everything comes crashing down. Either redo the molds for the bins to be a few millimeters wider or redesign the mounts. I've submitted a warranty claim to see how LG will handle this.

Great features, Many useful options, See thru door
We have had the unit for about 20 months and we love it and all the great features and options, When they work right. We really like the see thru door and tap to turn on the light. And the craft ice balls are super for drinks. But we had the craft ice maker replaced twice under warranty before we got it to work right. And just recently the whole unit stopped working with no power at all. It was traced to a bad freezer fan and bad power board and was replaced with no charge due to problems with them.
Overall we really love it but only time will tell if it lasts. I am cautiously hopeful!

Keep looking for another brand!
It's a refridgerator. The "window in the door" is an absolutely useless feature, all it does is gather fingerprints and entertain the grandchildren when they tap on it to make the inside light up. If you put anyting on the shelves on the door, which obviously you're going to, you can't see past that stuff anyway. I didn't buy the fridge for that feature, but wouldn't recommend it if I had. The ice maker on the door quit working about 2 months in, and the hassle we had to go through in order to schedule a technician guaranteed that I will NEVER purchase another LG appliance ever again.

Love the craft ice maker! When it works

Great features aesthetically pleasing to look at
I bought this brand new fridge item one month ago although the fridge is spacious with great features the ice machine on the door was none functional but it took one month before repairs and replacement was completed. This not what I expect from a renowned brand name such as LG to get a defective item and especially when I spend that kind of money. I was very disappointed but now the repairs have been completed and everything has been working well for the last 48hours. I still think that I should’ve been given a replacement instead of repairing the defective ice roller on the door of fridge but I willl keep monitoring it to see how it functions
