Purchased 7 months ago and very happy with features and functionality. One of the few ranges in this price range that have a glass control panel. Still getting used to baking as it is different that previous range but no complaints.
I'm happy with this purchase (after over 6 months) except for 2 details: - it's easy to cause gas to leak from the grill by leaning against the stove slightly as one cooks. Most folks would be alerted to the resulting leak by the smell of gas, but my husband does not have a sense of smell.
We have had this stove 1.5 years and love it. Cooks very fast with the powerful front burners, and simmers well too. The oven works fine, convention speeds things up. Steaks broil nicely. Our LG range goes within an inch of up tight to the rear wall, I guess the installation makes a difference.
I love the way our stove looks with its beautiful cobalt oven, but I do not like that two of the burners are weak. LG calls one front burner a "power burner," and the other a "power plus burner," while a back one is called "simmer burner.
Pros: I like the convection oven. It bakes very well and very evenly. I also like the stainless steel finish. It doesn't streak or show fingerprints. Cons: Although I am a intelligent and well educated person and can manage technology well, it took me about a year (yes, I said a year) to figure out...
It's Christmas Day 2015 and the Control Panel went out on my LG Gas Range. After looking on the LG site their are no solutions but over 350 complaints about LG Control Panels. Never again.
This is my first and last LG product. While the stove worked reasonably well initially I am beginning to question its durability. Just after a year some of the LED display was already gone. Just after two years there was a problem with the spark ignition and here is the clincher.
I am an LG TV and Phone fan, love them, and thought the same quality would carry over to their appliances. I filled a new kitchen with LG appliances and will review them individually. I use this range several times a day.
The convection stove works great, The center burner might work ok with the grille supplied, but it does not have the guts to heat a cast iron grill well. the super boil works great the layout of burners is too much for a 30 inch range and the company should have a version offering the convection...
Like most other the stove is a site to see - I really love the looks. 9/19/13 Ok, so that is were it ends - they delivered and set it up turned all the burners on and off. Then they set the oven for a 30 minute cycle and all worked ok until the end of the first cycle of warming the oven.
