Love the room inside!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased about a month ago. I love all the room inside the fridge and freezer! I had looked around everywhere to find the largest 2 door with freezer on bottom. This was what I found. There were none others! I am so glad I got this one. I love the stainless steel exterior. There is also a spot inside the door for taller items like wine bottles. Also, the veggie drawer closest to the wall will fully extend when door is open unlike my previous ((side by side that wouldn't allow me to open the drawers (5th pic). The freezer makes cubed ice that does not melt quickly for cold drinks.

Works OK With Reservations
We owned the LG refrigerator for about 2 months. Its operation is flawless with the following exceptions. The numeric freezer/refrigerator temperature settings at the unit are settings, not actual interior temperatures. It's not helpful. Active temperature displays would have been helpful. The $.50 icemaker power rocker switch is inconveniently located on the icemaker unit buried deep in the rear of the freezer drawer. My wife is 74 years old, I'm 76. My wife is unable to bend all the way down to even see the switch let alone use it. Why wasn't the switch located conveniently located at the top of the unit next to the temperature setting indicators?

Nice fridge but has a serious design defect
Spacious fridge with nice drawers and shelf placement. The compressor is mostly quiet but sometimes makes noise like a squirel under the fridge. No idea why this happens but rarely. The design flaw is with the shelf that the 2 vegetable drawers sits on. It is not strong enough to support their weight and bows slightly in the midddle. I've had them send me a replacement and the probelm persists. It results in the top inner corners of the two drawers rubbing together. I guess this is the result of having a full width drawer below the two vegetable drawers - insufficient support.

My refrigerator is going to be fixed soon!
I bought the refrigerator two years ago! The refrigerator not getting cold enough; and mot making ice! I have called them and they have scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks. So after the technician checks the refrigerator and ordered a part ( compressor) so after a week he came back and replaced the part. Not the refrigerator top part is perfect; But! The freezer not getting cold enough! So I called LG service center, and they were very helpful they’ll send me now a technician from LG service center not a 3rd party.
Hopefully this time my refrigerator is going to work well
I have been going through this issue for a month.

Tons of room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is HUGE! It has room for everything and the top shelves in the door fold up so you can put taller items in the door with no problem. The freezer also has plenty of room with the top slide out drawer. It also has a digital readout of the actual temp you set the fridge and freezer to so you can put a thermometer in there and see if it is properly cooling to the temp you have it set to. The smart diagnosis is a cool feature that gives you the ability to run a diagnostic without having to go to the CPU on the back of the fridge. If you just want a basic fridge with plenty of room, this is a great option.

Great Space and Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our fridge width was limited by cabinets, but I'm very happy with the internal size. It is as much as 36" refrigerators (due to water/ice door dispenser). We had another brand/model before and the upgrade in space was awesome!
This is my first time owning a bottom drawer style refrigerator, and we really like it. Good layout that you can store a lot of items, and the items in the top fridge part that you use more, are at eye level, so you don't have to bend down to see what's in it. Compressor did go out, but it was covered under warranty. Would buy again.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compressor went out after three years. Thankfully we have a 15 year old refrigerator in the garage that's never had a problem. LG is sending a company out to fix it, but we've been without our LG for over a week now. Plus the freezer drawer is made cheaply and the plastic rail broke off. They sure don't make appliances like they used to. Our old fridge in the garage has been abused so badly (hit by cars, etc.) and it's still plugging away. Stop trying to make things fancy! Just make them work!
