LG 30 Inch Over the Range 1.6 cu. ft. Capacity Microwave Oven

Good for basics. The Auto settings display DEF1, etc. Would be better if it displayed the actual food to cook or defrost. No timer, No night light and can't turn rotating turn table off.

The microwave suits our needs fine. I like the instant reheat and defrost features. I must say, it seems a little "tinny". I had a different LG model before and it was heavy and sturdy. This one sounds like a I said, Tinny when shutting the door. But, all works well, that is the main thing.

when using the light feature - it heats up every thing in the microwave , making the crust on your breads very hard -- could have been a better light system with more options.

Purchased this 6 months ago with the matching range and I love this microwave. It does not have a timer built in and the under counter light is to dim for stove top cooking. I tried to replace the bulb with a brighter LED bulb to no avail .

I have owned two identical units. Performance is superior. The door assembly needs upgrade. It was less expensive to replace old unit with exact new unit than to replace the door/switch assembly. Otherwise unit is a great value.

So far, this microwave has been doing OK, (with the exception of the exhaust fan which I think has a bad switch because even though it says it is in "LOW SPEED", the volume and pitch are the same as "HI SPEED").

Had a little trouble getting the vent to line up but I'm sure that would be the case with an model.

So far so good seems like a good microwave,, not had it too long, it does what it's supposed to without having to read a book on how it works.

I love the look of this microwave - adds a lot to the kitchen. The only complaint I have is that it does sometimes heat unevenly and takes more time to cook things than my previous microwave; but all in all, this is something I can live with for the beauty and easy of use.

  Heats Unevenly

After 23 months the unit stopped heating, did not cook, turn table would not turn. Very disapponted and decided to buy a new different brand microwave.
