The LG 27GR95QE-B is excellent for PC gaming. It offers a high 240Hz refresh rate with VRR support to reduce screen tearing. It also has low input lag for a responsive feel, and motion looks incredible thanks to its near-instantaneous response time, but it has inverse ghosting due to overshoot.
-
+
Near-infinite contrast ratio., 240Hz refresh rate with VRR support., Motion looks sharp., No blooming around bright objects.
-
-
Noticeable inverse ghosting., Distracting VRR flicker with changing frame rates.

-
-
Low SDR brightness, Some text clarity issues, Remote is necessary to control the display

Here’s the thing: OLED monitors aren’t cheap. But they do go on sale, potentially saving you a few hundred bucks on your purchase. If you insist on upgrading to an OLED model, it’s in your best interest to patiently wait for a sale.
-
+
Two HDMI 2.1 ports, Fast refresh rate, G-Sync and FreeSync compatibility for variable refresh rates
-
-
So-so brightness

The LG 27GR95QE-B is a tantalizing taste of what’s to come.
-
+
OLED color and true blacks can’t be beat, Greatly reduced auto-dimming headaches, HDMI 2.1 and 4K downscaler support PS5, Xbox, and PC tricks, Smooth motion (up to 240Hz) and HDR make for a clear picture
-
-
HDR has a few issues, Text isn’t as crisp as competing tech, Occasional flickering in VRR / G-Sync mode, Pricey

For the LG UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B, the good dramatically outweighs the bad, if the shortcomings of this monitor can even be called bad. This makes for a rather compelling value as its upgrades over competing low- and mid-priced monitors help justify the increased price.
-
+
Stunning clarity, Ultra-smooth visuals, No obnoxious dimming
-
-
Useless onboard controls, Low overall brightness, No USB-C

The LG 27GR95QE-B is a stellar display that makes 1440p again the PC gaming sweet spot due to its high 240Hz refresh rate and fantastic latency. However, its low overall brightness and lack of onboard settings keep it from being great.
![]() |
The speedy OLED response and 240Hz refresh rate of the LG Ultragear 27GR95QE combine to make it a superb competitive gaming monitor. However, the peculiarities of LG's WOLED panel tech mean text looks fuzzy, despite a reasonably sharp QHD resolution for this 27-inch display size.

While it may not be cheap, the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE-B is a tremendously good gaming monitor with excellent motion handling thanks to a high refresh rate and super-quick G2G response time

Impressive OLED image quality, Excellent motion handling, Great HDR performance, Supports DTX HeadphonesX, You want an OLED gaming monitor: The latest OLED monitors may be expensive, but their motion handling and picture quality are superb, making them ideal for anyone who wants a monitor that will...

Matte finish is not to everyone’s taste, Whole-screen brightness is no match for Mini LED or VA rivals, Pricey for a 240Hz 27-inch gamer, You don’t want to spend a lot: You need deep pockets to justify spending £1000/$1000 on a 27-inch 1440p 240Hz gaming monitor when you can pick up a 32-inch unit...
I think this is a great monitor. The colors and refresh rate are really good. The brightness is fine to me. The matte coating isn't great but it's not really noticable except up close on bright screens, like white websites. The one major negative to me is that the optical output quality is poor.

This is a product thats only evolving, but its the best on the market. A bit pricey but worth it in imo. The image quality to the durability of the monitor is sublime. If you have the money, definitely buy this monitor as it has been nothing but amazing since I have bought it.
Recently bought this monitor and I must say it’s the most beautiful monitor I’ve ever owned/used. I wouldn’t listen to the critics and negative reviews on the monitor regarding the dimming issue and not being bright enough as for me it was , I would try it out for yourself first and if you don’t...

This monitor has ruined all other gaming monitors for me. The blacks are TRULY black, and colors pop like I've never seen before! 240hz makes for a remarkably smooth gaming experience and 1440p is truly the perfect resolution for pc gaming.
Absolutely stunning.Ignore the hater that is complaining about a Matte Screen.Yes, it does hinder how the screen looks but it still looks better than IPS!The peak brightness is a bit low, so it doesn’t shine in very bright rooms, however, it DOES shine in little (Ring Lights or LED Lighting if...

Add brightness is lacking sure. I run hdr with gamer 2 so it’s bright enough for me. Colors pop and looks amazing. I chose this monitor over every other oled ones for the simple fact it has hdmi 2.1. I wanted to be able to run full frames and color with no dsc.
Don't listen to the people nite picking this product about brightness and Matte finish! Be a well-informed buyer and do your research about this monitor before you purchase. There are drawbacks to buying new technology. This was true with IPS and it is the same with OLED.

Style/Design, Performance, Quality
I used for about a month and decided it's not ready quite yet. The main problem is the text clarity (which I believe Windows needs to fix the subpixel layout), gray quality (which i believe all OLEDs have), and the overall clarity of the screen (which I believe is due to the matte finish and/or film...
This monitor is very close to being perfect. The high refresh rate / OLED combo is noticeable in gaming and it's hard to go back to 60/120/144hz after using this monitor. This is the best monitor on the market IMO but still not quite what would be the best.

Quality, Style/Design, Performance
This monitor is beautiful, the colors pop, brightness is decent, the new firmware helps get a bit brighter. I can’t even tell the difference between 1440p and 4k with this one. One other positive thing is that this monitor is easier on the eyes due to how limited of brightness oled can get.
