The LG 27GR83Q is decent for PC gaming. It has a high 240Hz refresh rate that you can achieve over DisplayPort and HDMI connections, and it supports any type of VRR format. It even has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth to take full advantage of modern graphics cards.

+
240Hz refresh rate., Supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and VRR., Fast response time at any refresh rate., Low input lag.
-
-
Low native contrast ratio., Still some noticeable blur., Highlights don't pop in HDR.

Simple, familiar design, Could be cheaper
Got this monitor when it was on sale and 100% worth it for the 379.99 I got it for.
incredible contrast for an IPSquick response times and an amazing price for 240hz at 1440p
Great monitor, got it open box and can't beat the quality for the price
I bought this thinking I'd get to play 240hz at 1440p. It only allows me to play 60hz on 1440p, and if I want to play on 120hz I have to go down to 1080. If anyone has a solution please help.

Style/Design, Features/Settings
The best 27" 1440p 240hz ips monitor you can buy for the money, period! I am very happy with this product and thank you to Ricardo G, at the Tustin store, for helping me grab this monitor and I was well on my way to check out.
There's not a lot of good monitors on the market to choose from. I've had at least 5 over the last 2 years and found that LG has the least quirks and issues, they just work as you expect and even better (eg. this model supports GSync/VRR over HDMI, which is not common).
I, like many others, was drawn in by the above average contrast ratio and color palette with a 240Hz refresh rate and GSync support. However, with my monitor I was seeing horizontal scan lines at 240Hz. Replaced DP cable. Same issue.
