Do not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A dishwasher is rather basic, wash and dry the dishes. My does an excellent job of washing the dishes, however it does not dry them. At the end the inside done especially is dripping wet. To make matters worse the customer service function is positively dreadful. You are directed to use the website for service. This then sends you off in a complicated and endless loop which does not help. Then you go to phone and after many endless loops including back to the web site results in no service to fix my problem. Awful. I love my LG refrigerator, but this is a mess. Would I recommend it no, would I buy it again no.

Defective junk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know if mine is defective, or if this is just trash. I bought this model in part because the photos showed the prongs on the bottom dish rack having curves to hold the plates up.
The rack I received is not what is shown in photos, and the prongs will not stay locked in place. As soon as I put more than two plates, the prongs fall down, and then of course the plates all fall down. We purchased this to replace our old LG dishwasher which was leaking after only six years. We have probably $8000 of LG appliances in our kitchen, but I think we are done with them at this point.

Think twice before purchasing
Usually love LG products but don’t buy this dishwasher! Purchased this dishwasher in April 2023. The first problem is the rollers on the bottom rack—half of the time it falls off of the track and it is hard to get in and out. The design of the bottom rack doesn’t seem very logical and it is hard to organize dishes with an extra space where dishes fall through—almost like it’s missing a row of prongs to hold plates. I don’t love how the top rack loads either. The dishwasher also does not dry well, even though we use the extra dry cycle that takes 3 hours to wash and dry the dishes. We still have to hand dry several of dishes. The dishwasher turns on easily even if you just brush up against the Power button when you’re not meaning to turn it on. Does it wash the dishes—yes, but if you have another option, I would choose the other option if I had to do it over. Definitely would not buy again and would NOT recommend to others either!! SUPER DISAPPOINTED with this dishwasher.

Went into error message the second time it ran.
The error code OE appeared off and on for the first few months and then the machine stopped. I thought the soap dispenser was getting caught and keep stopping the cycle. When it finished the cycle, the dishes were very clean. However, at about the 1Oth wash the machine stopped and the OE code could not be removed and the machine stopped. It turns out the pump never worked correctly from the beginning and now I have to get it repaired. I feel the machine should be replaced under the "lemon law" and I should not have to get a new dishwasher repaired. I am a seasonal resident so had to put this project on hold until October.

Very nice dishwasher - does everything we need
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] no complaints on this dishwasher. It holds alot, it is quiet and is very functional at holding all of our variety of dishes. At first we were excited about using the top drawer shelf for our silverware but I found the baskets were better for that. The shelf works better for spatulas and large spoons and knives and thins that are too big for the baskets. Only thing we have noticed is that if you lean up against the front you can accidentally turn the Power on. My wife does not like that. Also a normal load takes 2 hours and 28 minutes to completion. Seems a bit long but the end result is good so it's OK.

Mixed feelings
I’ve been using my new dishwasher for about 2 months. Following every normal cycle there’s heavy condensation on the door. I read others posts that indicate this is a common problem. The only solution is to run the Extra Dry cycle each time. So, additional expense on my electricity bill. It does work however. Two of the fold down dividers keep falling on their own, causing my plates to come crashing down against one another and of course not getting clean. Lastly, I hate the front control panel. It’s extremely sensitive so when I’m working at my sink, the slightest touch engages the power button and tries to start a cycle. Wish I’d bought a dishwasher with top control panel!!
