LG 30 Inch Electric Smoothtop

Easy installation, clean looking. Very easy to turn off but difficult to turn on. Maybe it’s a safety way as a childproof protection. So far I am totally satisfied. Corner edge very fragile and should have a type of metal ring to prevent potential fissuration.

Bought this as a replacement stovetop a few weeks ago. Its ok but I find the controls to be a two step process which seems unnecessary. You have to press the individual control to on and then go back to the central control to select the temp 1-9. You have to do this every time you adjust the burner.

It looks very nice, unfortunately it is wider than the GE Profile we took out. We had to cut the Granite counter 1/2 inch. We just installed it last week, so far so good. I did not get the users instructions since it was a floor model. If you could sent me a printable copy, I would be grateful.

During a kitchen remodel we selected this LG model after researching all the different brands, models, and features. We hit a home run with this new LG. We love the touch control (no knobs) feature. It gives our new granite counter top a very rich and fashionable look.

Installs easily. It works fine- my only "complaints" are that sometimes it doesn't see wet fingers on the controls, and setting pots/pans/lids down on the control area can turn on the child lock. Clean up is pretty easy since the surface is just a big flat piece of glass.

This cooktop is wonderful. Easy to use, no knobs to clean around. The burners heat quickly and evenly. The warming element and the dual size element features are great. Recommend for anyone looking for a nice and functional glass cooktop.

I do a lot of home canning and was forever dropping jelly and such into the knobs on the stove. Was looking for something without raised knobs and I am totally happy with my find. However I am on the learning curve I that I have to keep the child lock feature on when not in use.

This is the third cooktop I have installed in my home, and it is truly the best one I have ever used. It is the third brand of cooktop I have ever used also. This one must have been designed by a woman . . . or someone who knows how it should be designed for best use.

Used for everyday cooking. Like the sizes of the burners; the controls are easy to use; and looks good in the kitchen.

fantastic cook top, easy to use and looks great. Not that I'm the gourmet in teh house but my wife wanted a new cook top, our old GE Profile (1996) was starting to show it's age and not work properly, we went from a four burner GE to the LG with five and so far so good.
