Worse Than The Earlier Version
Like most unnecessary “upgrades”, this new version is terrible. The dryer light doesn’t work consistently. The clothes & dryer sheets get bunched up at the threshold of the door so everything comes out wrinkled. The machine is slanted so you cannot use the surface as a folding area because everything slides right off onto the floor. The lint trap is difficult to clean because it’s folded & all the lint collects in the crease. Also, for every load, you have to dial the knob through many menu options prior to even starting the machine. Lastly, it has a very sparse design which looks cheap.

I purchased this set 4 weeks ago, dryer ruins clothes, everything gets caught and twisted, LG sent out a repair man that replaced the “design flaw” near the lint filter. It still catches and twists everything, not to mention my clothes are never fully dry even after 60 min on high. The washer twist and wraps everything together. I am very unhappy with this purchase. My friend bought the same set and is having the same problem. Why are you still selling this set with a known design problem? These aren’t cheap.

DO NOT BUY! Design Flaw
Dryer gets clothing, draw strings, and dryer sheets stuck between the drum & lint filter and has ruined multiple articles of our clothing. We actually exchanged for another unit assuming it was a defective item, but the second dryer had the same issue, so we returned.

Design Flaw Snagging and Twisting Laundry
There is a design flaw where the channel and gap between the lint filter housing and the drum housing can snag edges of your laundry as it spins around inside the dryer.
This has nothing to do with the lint filter being dirty or not seated fully. In fact, it has nothing to do with the lint filter.
The design flaw is the channel and gap between the lint filter HOUSING and the dryer's drum housing snagging laundry.
This does not happen with all loads, but happens consistently and regularly enough to be a design flaw issue, warranty case, and/or lemon case.

Great features, love the AI
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit a little over a week and so far so good. I do have to get used to the settings and ensure I am putting the right amount of clothing in. I had one instance of putting sheets in with clothing and put it on heavy and when I walked into the laundry room I literally had a wet sauna going on and the sheets twisted around the clothes. I hate reading so I have not sat and read everything about the unit so bad on me but overall it is easy to use and the features are great.
